Hey Guys: I am 5'10" 207 lbs. 10% bf. I have read the WAR on Anavar and it says I need .125 mg/lb of bodyweight. That is roughly 10 2.5 mG pills a day. Financially, that gets tough. I was wondering what dosages people have used and what there experiences with the drug were. I would like to do 5 pills a day for 40 days. Would that be a waste? Thanks for all of your input.     | ||

I HAVE NOT PERSONALLY TRIED ANAVAR BUT I THINK ANAVAR IS A WASTE PERIOD. WHY SPEND ALL THAT MONEY ON A SUBSTANCE, WHEN YOU CAN GET A MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE SUBSTANCE FOR A LOT CHEAPER?? | ||

I do agree with JUICESEEKER in that there are other anabolics that are much more effective and a lot cheaper than Oxandrolone but I feel that Oxandrolone is very effective between cycles. Oxandrolone is great for increased muscle density/hardness and strength gain. It will also enhance body fat reduction significantly in both the abdominal and visceral stores. Oxandrolone will not aromatize at any dosage.
Take one half of the dosage in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.

Toni, they stopped making anavar. It is now called oxandrolone but people got used to calling it anavar and still do. I am using it now and it is a very nice product. I just posted this yesterday... it is great for bulking, cutting, or bridging. It adds strength and hardness even on a low cal diet. It is 6 times as anabolic as methyltestosterone and is as safe as baby food on your liver and it's oral. I would not take less than 20mg/day usless you're just bridging. I did 25mg/day. Got small results, but that's what I was expecting. Wish I did 30mg/day though, even though the price gets up there. Might try 50mg/day. | ||

Bill Roberts was quoted as saying "you should just get the anavar in powder form it is only 1/3 the price" on the board over there a couple days ago. I guess the powder is out there,,, has anyone seeen anyone with any though? | ||

I used it years ago, in preporation for both a body building comp and then a power lifting comp a few weeks later. It worked great for both. Strength went thru the roof on only 20mg/day, and it definately hardened me up. Like everyone else said, price is the only draw back. 10mg/day will be a waste. | ||

This is not a flame but juiceseeker is you have'nt tried it you would'nt have any idea whether or not it is a waste. I have tried it many time usually at 30mg a day and have had excellent results ,good increases in lean muscle (average 5-8lbs) and awesome strength gains. ------------------ | ||

I feel that if you have never used many AS before you will have no trouble putting on 5lbs and getting strong as hell over those 6 weeks. 20mg is plenty to see some results, not huge results but noticable results beyond what natural training would have got you ------------------ | ||

well, anavar isnt gonna put a lot of gains on if your bridging, it will help you keep them and keep them hard too. if your using it during cycle, either use with something very androgenic like dianabol for some serious mass, or something like winny or tren for fatloss and lean hard muscles. i would use it at 30-50mg daily, very expensive though. | ||

I am currently using it in conjunction with some other cutting drugs, and it seems to be helping the cycle out nicely. I am using 25 mg/day.
