Not enough info. How long have you trained? Do you go to failure? How many reps? How many exercises per workout? How often do you work the bodypart? Do you get enough sleep? Are you dieting? How old are you? All of these things matter.

I do roughly 3 sets/ 3 exercises (9 sets total) for each body part every 6 days. I am currently drug free. Some would argue that this is too low of volume, but I have had pretty good luck so far. Oh yeah, I do 6-10 reps per set. EVERY set to failure. In order to do this I have to go down in weight each set. I only warm up 1 or 2 sets before the first exercise for each body part. I don't count warmups as a set.

Workout schedule:
Back, trap -mon

Shoulders, traps -wed
bis,tris -thurs
legs -fri

Hope this helps out

If I had to take a stab at it I would say:
4 if you are pyramidding with fixed reps.
3 if you are going to failure every set.

I want to hear what these big mofo's around here who squat 800 lbs say though.

If your strength training, cycle your movements so you change excercises every 3-4 weeks.
So 4 weeks of flat bench as your primary movement , followed by 3 weeks neutral grip incline dumbells as your primary , followed by four weeks of bench press with a narrow grip.
basically what Lou Simmons has his guys do.
