Have any of you guys seen Whit in action on ESPN World's Strongest Man. This guy is impressive, not only is he young but he's also a lot shorter and lighter than the other giants. He weighs in around 268, he told me a couple months ago. He put on 20lbs the last 3 weeks before WSM. He used a lot of anadrol. Whit also has the heart of a lion. If any of you have ever competed in strongman you realize how FUCKING TOUGH it is!!

I have done 2 comps and done very well. They were only regional comps so I have yet to do a national size comp. I am addicted to strongman already. So many people think you just need to be big, that is so false.

To be a great competitor you will need:

sick strength

huge work capacity

iron will

speed and more speed

the lust for pain

My first comp I watched all the big boys fall out within the first 2 events. All of them were over 275 lbs and all of them puked all over everything. I was light at 250 lbs but fast with a history of track & Field. Even with great conditioning I needed to suck on an oxygen mask.

Check this interview with Whit out:

Best thing about Whit is his attitude...one of the nicest, most down to earth guy you'll ever meet.

I've seen Whit's first WSM comp on TV, he looked puny compared to the other guys but he was an animal, that WSM was the one where he held the car deadlift for like 2 and a half minutes , the rest of the field couldn't even hold for as minute.

You put it best bro...heart of a lion..heart of a F*cking lion.

Whit deadlifting the car was quite awesome. His arms must have felt like they were ripping out of their sockets. With a little more experience he'll win the whole thing no doubt

Goddamn!!!

I have seen Whit Baskin on sept 2-3-4...

He is a very huge guy. 5'10" and 265lbs and I estimate him at 9-10% bodyfat max

His calves are the best I have ever seen!

He competed at the Gatineau Open where I live.

I shook his hand but didnt really talk to him he looks nice though.

He finished 3rd. Johnny Perry was second and my homeboy Hugo Girard was first
