For those who may not know me, here is a brief bio. I started training at 16yrs old at 163lbs. when I was 17 I weighed 200lbs. I decided to go on Sustanon 250. I quickly blew up to 230lbs with huge strenghth increases. I did that for 2 years almost non-stop.Ate at least 5000 calories per day. I was the Big Boy of the gym at the time. People used to watch me repping out 315lbs 20 times in the squat in awe. Squatting 500+ for reps. Yup I was the Big Boy. I then decided to lean out by eating less and taking Winstrol. I came in at 210lbs at 7%fat by the time I was 21 and kept that up. I stopped roids all together and kept a bodyweight of 200lbs- 225lbs natural. But a little flabby. This past couple of monthes I decided to go back on roids. The results were not the same as before. I cant seem to gain off it. Maybe a little but not like before at all. Im not a competor so Im not going to spend all my money on roids. Im starting to think if I really want to be on roids, for the little gains that I have been getting im not sure if its worth it. I;m naturally big and strong. If I take creatine I will gain the same amount of weight as roids gave me. Maybe Im not taken them right. Im not sure. But i think when my omnadren cycle is over I will not use again. Damn I hate feeling depressed, due to roids I just know it. anyways....Im checking out guyz...maybe its a phase, maybe Its time to check out for good.

i hope all is well, steroids do have a dramatic physical and mental affect on the body. since you started out with a testosterone cycle your body will need AS at a higher dosage to give you the desired gains. again i hope all is well and wish you the best....peace

If the roid use doesn't have more (+) then (-), you are smart to stop. ------------------

There is no reason why you should not grow like you used to. Not the same degree, that is understandable. But the way you describe it I'm thinking that something may be wrong. What does your cycle look like now? How is your diet? And, what did your cycles used to look like? ------------------ UP-TO-DATE information on STEROIDS and PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS:

I think that the growth is a small issue in his choice, it sounds as if he is drained emotionally from the cycles. ------------------

Why don't you take them in high dosages? People who are big and strong can't just take 500mg of test anymore. They need more for the effect. I hope you will succeed either way. It's just a suggestion I'm making right now.
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 901 |
I started at 1g of enanthate for 3 weeks than kept 500mg of omnadren untill im done about 8 weeks total. Before I did 250 sust every 4 days, nonstop. Sometimes I went to 1cc every 2-3 days!!!(just for a little though)

It's probably a good choice that your getting off cause you sound like your seriouly depressed. I get really depressed after cycles if I lose weight or even from strength loss. Who likes going to the gym and lifting less then you did the last time! If that's the case and your looking for something that'll retain the results from a cycle try GH. I won't do a cycle without it!! I went through the same thing your going through, good like bro.... keep your head up....

Steelhart, When do you think you noticed that your Omnadren kicked in? I'm on week 4, just curious... Later.
Cool Novice Posts: 14 |
You need to take about 6 months off of juice. Still maintain your diet and training. Come back after 6 months and you can still do very well. You might want to try GH!

tell you what, I thin you are making the right choice...stick with it...how old are you again? ------------------
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 75 |
How long were you off the juice? It sounds to me like you rely way to much on roids alone. I would cut the shit for about 6 months to a year. Train hard and eat right. Give your body a chance to restore to normal test. levels. Then if your dis-satisfied with your results start a light cycle and gradually build yourself back up. GOOD LUCK BRO.

I wish SteelHeart all the best. I've seen a number of his posts, and he'll be missed. Jim Layhoe, in his post above, put his finger on SteelHeart's situation, seems to me. BTW, I think it's good that we see threads and posts that lay out the downside of this whole business, don't you, bros? Kind of closes the circle, so to speak. Thanks for speaking up, SteelHeart. Be well, and lift heavy, brother. Bjaarki ------------------ BECOME SOMEONE'S HERO!

Thanks guys....Im not leaving the board at all. Im still going to post some of my limited wisdom. Its just I think Im done with roids for now.... I have been previously off for 3 years. I did a small dose of 200mg of cypionate for 5 weeks. Than enanthate (500mg) for 5 weeks, than I did the 1g of enanthate and omnas....My gains were not too good. Im 24 by the way...

Reading your post, I immediately thought that maybe you were suffering from incorrect memory recall. What we remember of the past tends to become colored over time, faded or disjointed. This is common because of all the information per day that our brains must process. For example, my mother was washing dishes one night, cut her hand on a broken glass, went to the hospital and came back home with my baby brother. For some reason my mind erased all the in between stuff, like her nine months of pregnancy. Anyways bro, I don't wanna get into another long one here, but maybe you aren't remembering how hard you worked in the past. Good for you that you wanna lay of the sauce, or juice. Peace bro.

Steelhart, never say never again. I use this sentence a lot lately. But stopping with roids doesn't mean you cannot enjoy training anymore. Besides as you say yourself, we will still have you on the board. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 901 |
Thanks dude.... I think I actually understood that! I know that when i was 17-21 bodybuilding was my life I wanted to be the best! I ate trained like a maniac. Its hard to get back into that groove once again. I tried many times. Even with tons of juice I dont feel quite aggressive towards my workouts. Although I do push it real hard. I remeber in the past id push it so hard id get a bleeding nose when going all out on squats. Id speak to myself in the mirror. Saying shit like, "You want it? You want it? Lets go!" id whisper shit like that while looking in the mirror before I did my heavy sets. I was fucked man! Id kill someone if they were in my way. i remeber walking towards the bench when I bumped into the weight stack and I almost lost it on the rack! i was sooo fucked up! Fun-Fun

Steelheart: Nosebleeds in the squat rack? And by the age of 24? That's some kind of insane intensity, bro! Man, I wish I had a workout partner like you. I'm going to count on you to stick around the board and put your $.02 in on threads that catch your eye. You're some kind of animal, Steelheart! Don't change that channel, man! Bjaarki
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 901 |
Well what Im saying is... thats the way it used to be. I was an animal in the gym! People use to watch me train, ask me questions. I was a quiet guy as I am now, but when i was in the gym I would tear it up literally! Even the big guys 250+ woould look at me and say stuff like, "Where the fuck did this young punk come from". Because I blew up in strenght and size so fast!!! Now im just another trainer at Monster Gym...ahhh the good old days...

I REGRET NOTHING!!!!!!!! Not at all... I actually think it did me good! It gave me more self esteem, cause we all know what being a teenager is like. It made me more agressive to express my opinions.Made me more out going, and I loved the attention.I suffereed no side effects what so ever! I just wish I knew about cycles and all that instead of being on all the time.

Steelheart, I totally understand what youre talking about man. When I was twenty one through twenty three I went totally nuts with the juice and rarely ever went off the shit. My workouts were so intense that I didnt care if people were staring or whatever. Now, I have been weeding myself off the shit and I look back at the way I used to be and it really makes me realize how fucked up in the head I really was. Im 24 now too, and I am real close to cashing out as well. Besides the fact that all the heavy training has given me back trouble and Knee problems as well. I think you are making a wise decision. What Im thinking about doing is just sticking to Shaping drugs and less androgens. Im gonna stick to Primo and Anavar and Winnie and stuff thats not gonna make me throw weights through mirrors anymore!! Peace SteelHeart, You have come to the end of the bodybuilding road also known as Burn Out. Everybody gets there!! Later HWRECKER

Thanks bro.... I dont think Im actually suffering from a crash at all. I just dont feel roids is neccesary for my goals anymore. Ive got 7 amps left of omnadren and am debating if I should use it all up or just get rid of it...hmmmm.....Im down to 500mg every 10 days.....fuck 1g per week!!!

Bro, Let it go if you feel you dont need it any more. Im not going to use A/S for the rest of my life once i get up to weight Im doing one or maybe two cycles a year (Maybe) A/S are just a steping stone by all means dont stop training just fine tune what you have and keep it trim. Unless you want to be pro you dont need to keep up the A/S useage. ------------------

hey Bro I can fully appreciate were your coming from. i posted a similar post last month and have now been drug free for about 7 weeks and feel great mentally. I am still very strong, will still compete if I chose to do so, and will still make gains though natural. To me getting back control of my mind was the most important. Yes I hurt a lot more, no its not the same but I was on so long there was more positive than negative. Worked out yesterday and was asked how I got so big and it was only my 3rd workout in almost two months as I have trsveled alot. You are making a very personal descion and you have my respect and I wish you the best with it. Your body is to important to not listen to. Good for you

Hey bro, I think you need to use more than just test. I am 35 and my last cycle netted me 35 pounds. If I were you I would by a little bit over time, until I had enough for a great cycle, than go for 12 weeks. You can do that once or twice a year. You have potential, but if you want off then I support you in that as well. Just remember, it isn't how you play, it is whether you win or lose. I used to curl 225 on the barbell, closest I ever got to that again was 200. Did that stop me? nope!. I didn't press 405 on the bench till I was in Canada earlier this year, so I think you can still make new records or lifts if you desire. From what I have heard the area you live in is known for bogus gear, you might try to order from somewhere outside. I agree with 300kleen, it sounds like something is wrong. Possibly fake gear. Well, drop me a line and will chat. chesty ------------------

It takes one hell of a man to stop taking AAS. My hat is off to you!! It sounds like you are making the right desicion. If your not experiencing the gains on AAS as you desire, then you stop so you dont do more harm than good. If it werent for my illness I would prob stop too. Good luck bro!
