I rememeber reading a while back that someone said that preparation H can help to tighten up puffy nips a little, anyone ever tried this?     | ||

Hell yeah on the abs. Smear that shit around at night before you go to bed and wrap Saran Wrap around your waist, the next morning you will feel like you can hardly breath. Do it while prepping for a show and in the mornings, when you cut that Saran Wrap off, it will look like Niagra Falls with the water flooding out. | ||

I've never heard of anyone putting in on their abs and saran wrapping it. Whats it do exactly? Just tighten up the fat layer some? I have puffy nips and its starting to get annoying, however in still natural, so its not from gear. So thumbs up or down for the prep on the nips? | ||

O.k. it was explained to me like this. Preperation h is used to shrink tissue, like when you get a srtawberry hangin out your ass, so i guess when you put it on your skin it works the same way,whether it is temporarily shrinking fat cells or tightening skin I do not know but when this happens it seems to draw water out of the skin. How does that sound, hopefully I am making some sense ------------------ | ||

yeah and the reason for the Saran Wrap is too keep it from rubbing off on your bedsheets at night and drying out. It works when you are low in BF . Hardens and tightens the abs.. | ||

I've never put it on my abs, but I've used it on my nips before. It helps a little, but I don't think it does very much. Give it a try and see how it works for you. ------------------ | ||

There have been other threads on this topic, at least on the use of Prep H, if not on applying it your nips. Search should find them. Basically, Preparation H leaches the water out of tissue, on a very temporary basis. That's why it relieves hemorrhoidal pain, by leaching the water our of the lesions (thus shrinking them, reducing their swelling). The compound has NO EFFECT on cellular fat in adipose tissue, per se. I've heard about this saran wrap business. Sounds effective, if a little gross. thanks guys, I think I will give it a try. Its just that my nips are puffy most of the time and it gets to you, its annoying as hell. Sometimes when I wear thin, tight shirts or my tank tops to the gym you can tell they are puffy, sucks! | ||

This reminds me of a funny story. When I was in highschool I worked in a drug store. This old gal came in one day with a big tube of Prep H. She hands it to the dude I worked with and says, "I need some more of this." He's listening to her and he's holdin the tube in his hand. At the same time we all look down and notice that she had left the big ole nasty applicator tip still on the tube. Clearly she hadn't even given this thing a wipe down before she brought it in. He kinda freaks out and practically jumps over the counter to hand this thing back to her. The rest of us had to bolt to the back of the room to keep from laughing our asses off in front of customers. The same gal comes in a few months later and says we sold her something for her toothache and it made her sick. She was mad as hell and she wanted to return it. She holds it up and it's a full tube of "Anusol". No one knew how it happened, but clearly she intended to purchase "Anbesol". We were all struggling to keep from laughing at this poor, old, seriously pissed off woman. At the same time, the owner was there and he was seriously angry because he was thinking lawsuit.
