If one were doing a Cycle of Deca 400/week along with Primo at the end. They were at the end of the second week, ready for the third injection tomorrow....and they ended up getting drunk, 8-9 miller lites, never drinks usually...what would be the best thing to do to minimize the negative affects of the alcohol on the body and cycle? i think a lot of protein and water would be good...anything else?? this guy is 5' 10" 206 lbs. | ||

I don't understand why you are drinking beer when you are on a cutting cycle anyway. 8 beers = about 2500 calories, that's too many extra calories to have on a cutting cycle. Let's say you were on a bulking cycle, beer would be a little bit better. But should still be kept to a minimum if you are worried about your liver. I find beer as a good source of getting calories, so i drink non-alcoholic beer when i am on cycle. It tastes like ass but 10 beers a night gets me an extra 3,000 cals | ||

Drink alot of water throughout the day and in the evening when you are rehydrated go do a few sets of heavy squats. That'll fix ya right up. LATER | ||

The effects of alchohol on the body are interesting. First it is really stupid to drink soon after you work out the reason being is that most anabolic proccess's slow/shut down. Secondly Test. levels are lowered by upto 30%. This happens immiadetly. However, some competitive bodybuilders will drink a small quantity of sweet wine (as the muscles absorb the simple carbs like a sponge, specially if they've been on a hard cuuting cycle) and swell up. Alchohol is a diuretic so in the SHORT term you may look a bit more vascular; believe me this does not last for too long.. the next you awfull! It would be interesting if you have a 're-bound' effect from the lowered test. levels (as a result of the short term suppresion of the hormone). If you are going to drink, always do it on a full stomach, a good fatty meal is good as the fat absorbs the alchochol. Take lots of Vitamin (esp. C+D) and water. The golden rule (for me anyway) is DO NOT mix your drinks (ie wine + cider = a very bad hangover!). I like a drink now and again... relieves stress... probably a good way of stopping those cort. levels from getting too high (or not)!! Seriously though, in so far as bodybuilding is concerned I think a little often is more detrimental to Anabolic proccess than a lot sometimes (short term... obviously long term you'll not be doing your body any favours!)
