I'm 6' and I currently weigh about 205, but I'm carrying some bodyfat (belly). I'm planning a bulking cycle starting in mid-october composed of Sust, Deca, and Dbol. This is my second cycle, and before I start i'll be posting weekly stats with my cycle details for suggestions/criticism. As for now, what should I be doing to prepare for it? Should I give it a head start by upping my calories, or should I cut down my bodyfat before I start? Also, what about training --Heavy and intense, or high rep? Also, I have some mild nipple puffiness that i've always naturally had since I was young -- but it dissapears and looks perfect when its cold (and when they get hard). Could that be considered gyno -- or would gyno still show regardless? Its bad enough where you can see through a t-shirt, but the puffiness is soft and I can't notice any hard legions inside.

Ok, Im gonna give you the answer, and its the answer you want to hear if youre anything like me... No, you dont need to lose the body fat before bulking, if youre willing to do the right thing on the bulking diet. I regularly lose bodyfat and gain muscle on 5,000-6,000 calories a day. The trick is to get in the protien, then make the carbs all complex (NO SUGAR) and in the evening, make the carbs 60% fiborous 40% complex. For instance. Say you had chicken and a whole sweet potato for an earlier meal. Once you got into the area of 4 hours before bed, make the meal chicken, 1/2 a sweet potato, and broccoli. The fiber is good for mobilizing fatty acids into the blood stream. The number of calories is for you to decide, but to me cant be done without protien powder! As for your nipples... no I would say that is most definatly not gyno. Just fatty nipples. As long as its not painful to the touch, it is just fatty deposits behind the nipples... nothing to worry about. Train heavy, but train all your muscle fibers. Warm up, then get a set of 10-12 reps, then a set of 8-10, then a set of 4-6. This way youve hit all the various fibers... strength and atrophy related. This is the best way to do it till you really know what works well for you. Do cardio mabye 3 times a week, for a half hour to forty-five minutes. Its good to keep fat under control, and the cardio-vascular work helps flush reoxygenated blood to the body parts as they try to repair themselves... Hope that helps... ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I agree with Monster, but I personally like to get cut up before a bulking cycle. I hate not having abs, so I try to cut up before I bulk so I don't end up losing a lot of definition. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Monster is correct, sugar is probably the main reason most guy's get fat on a bulking diet. Also try to remember that milk even skimmed milk contains a lot of sugar in the form of lactose so be careful. I think skimmed milk has 3.4g of protein per 100ml but also contains over 12g of sugar. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah I try and avoid sugar whenever possible... except for post-workout, when its needed for glycogen replacement. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
