Has the chemical Triacana in it, the thyroid medication. It has been discontinued by the FDA! Sucks. Anywhere else to get it? The item below was a transdermal medication. Product ID : 9003 Category Manufacturer     | ||

I was lucky enough to find some plain tiratricol (the main ingredient) made by Biosculpt at a local store, so I got some...do a search on www.dogpile.com for tiratricol, triacana, etc., and see what you can find...it's still out there, just harder to get! Good luck... ------------------  | ||

I tried tiratricol (Triax from Syntrax) and it did nothing for me. It's a T4 pre-cursor. The body has to manipulate the molecule quite a bit before it's useful, as I found out later. In theory, it'll convert in the body to T4, causing the T4:T3 balance to be out of whack. Then the body compensates by converting some of the extra T4 to T3 to restore this balance. The increase of the T3 is supposed to increase the body's metabolic rate. |
