some guy came onto a high way doing 60 miles an hour did a 360 almost smashed in my honda, i was on the way home from the gym so at the next light i cut him of parked my car in front of his, two guys came out acting tough, but when i got out with out my shirt and grouled at them and explained to them how they are about to be beaten into a blody pulp, and not to mention the crowd that was chearing me on cause they cut them off too, they ran in they pick up got in drowe ower the curb abd tokk off, i got to kick the pasanger door i jumped up and kicked it with both of mine feet, it was a nice dent i put in it. so next time another pencilneck mother fucker pulls that kind a shit and i get of hold of him, my roid rage will take care of it all     | ||

I'm glad to here they got what they deserve... All of us make mistakes when driving, but that is just plain recklessness.. Ripped just keep in mind when you do this type of shit, that there are alot of crazy mofo's out there with guns, and it doesn't matter how big you are, you aren't going to be able to beat up a bullet. I have learned how to be at peace when I drive. I used to get upset very easily and scare the hell out of people, but now I just avoid idiots and lower the stress level of my drive (which in turn reduces catabolism). I am happy to hear all went well, though. Just remember Rocco's, GETCUT's and 1911's advice about the pistolas.

yeah some white gangsta wanabe learned it the hard way before, he pulled a hand gun at me because i walked thru the door first so i can get my daughter some milk, the store i went to was a corner store they usto deal crack out of there, so i said ok no problem here, went home took my fully automatic ak 47 with a pistol grip handle and a fold out stock, brought it back to the store, the jamaican behind the counter started craing and handing out drugs, the kid was baling also and then he told me it wasnt ewen a real gun, so i said to him, that i might look like a uncool dude who has a kid seat in the back of his car and dont have a loud stereo, but when it comes to someone thretning mi life i will du something about it, newer had a problem in that neiborhood again, iam not traing to plait off as iam some tuff guy, iam just an awerage guy who wants to get thru life with out hasels and safely, and , i hate thugs wana be, if you fuck with me i dont call the authoritys, they wount do shit, ill just get ya later some way or another i realy have a problem with people who drive crazy sory for the long story | ||

I never lose my temper anymore EXCEPT when I am driving. Too many stupid mofos who don't know how to drive that piss me off. I am a very impatient person and I have found myself in many similar situations myself. One time, back in high school, I was driving home and this punk kid from my school kept yelling out the window. Apparently he didn't like the way I was driving. My friend who was riding with me was like "What's that guys problem. I said "I don't know but when we get to this light if he says anything else, I am getting out of the car." So we pull up to this crowded intersection and the guy drives by me in the turning lane and once again yells some shit at me. So I put the car in park and got out, held my arms out and said, "Do you got a problem, boy?" He said something to the effect that he didn't like the way I was driving. "So, WTF are you gonna do about it?", I said. "I'm gonna run you over", he replied. I was like huh? "So run me over, you little pussy", I said, standing next to my car. He backed up past my car, turned the wheel toward my car and proceded to run into my rear fender. Instantly that little switch went off in my head and I snapped. I started kicking the sh*t out of the front of his car and broke the grill in several places. Then I leaped over the side of his hood, went to his window and started punching him repeatedly. BTW, this guy had 4 people with him compared to just me and my friend but at this point I didn't care and probably could have taken all of them on with all of the adrenaline I had pumping in me. I kept punching him and he kept holding his forearm up trying to block my punches. Then he took his foot and stuck it out the window to kick me away from him. When he did that, I ripped his shoe off of his foot and launched it across the 4 lane road and yelled "Go get it you little f*cking pussy." Then I looked in the back of the car and there were three guys with eyes bigger than golfballs and scared looks on their faces. I just shook my head and walked back to my car because the light had just turned green. The whole time this was happening, there were two cars full of catholic high school girls cheering me on and yelling for me to kick his ass. After the adrenaline wore off, I went over to my friends house and told him the whole story and we both started laughing uncontrollably. Then we went back to the spot and got the shoe. The next day at school, I put it on my dashboard with a note saying he could have the shoe when he paid for my car. Later that night he ended up coming over with his dad and we all explained what had happened. His dad said he neede his shoe back. "You can have it when you pay for my car", I said. Then his dad pointed out that I had broken his grill in several places and even broke a headlight mount. Oops, I had forgotten about that! When it all came down to it, I only had about $50 worth of my damage and he had well over $100. So I gave him the shoe back. The next day at school, I wasn't going to tell anybody about it because my school (catholic school) had a real strict policy and even if you were found to be fighting off of school grounds, they could still give you detention. To my surprise he had already told everyone that I had kicked the shit out of him in the middle of the road. I couldn't help but laugh. To this day, that story still comes up from time to time with me and my friends and we always end up breaking out laughing. Hell, I am laughing now! Oh, the memories! Ah, High School, just got out of that god-awful place and I miss it already. Got drunk every weekend and had a perfect excuse, cause I'm in high school. Fucked a cops daughter, and somehow he supposedly found out, but he let it go cause I was in high school. Race cars, damage property, and through huge parties, all a very big part of my life in high school. But I'm in college now, I like to think of it as high school with carpet, cause I'm still doin the same shit I used to, except the cars are faster, the girls are hotter, and fuck my parents house, I'll through a party at my friends house, cause he has his own. i will tell you one thing the speed limit is 65 so who cares what is faster,i learned the hard way i got a ticket doing 135 in a 45 in a 95 supra my license got revoked for 18 months with a conditional license, which i got taken away also so i couldnt drive for a total of 24 months, i was in the best shape back then cause i did a lot of cardio by riding around mine mountain bike | ||

The main reason people (rednecks) talk bad about imports is because they have no clue what they are talking about. I love import and domestic. I remember when everyone used to make fun of little Hondas trying to race and has anyone checked to see how they are doing lately?? There are friggin front drivers running 9 second quarter miles. Obviously American cars are going to be faster becase they have 8 cylinders. Duh! It is easy to see why those cars can be made to go faster. But a front driver that runs nines in the quarter mile. Now that is what I call f*ckin impressive!! Not too mention the fact that I have owned both and can say that in my experience, imports are much more reliable. well badatta2d, are you totally sure of that? I was a huge american car fan, I recently bought a Grand Am GT, but my boss buys foreign, and didn't understand it for the longest time. I work at a sheet metal company, very successful, but it's a small buisness, so I work directly with my boss so we're friends and all. After about a year of working there I convinced him to let me take out his Supra, I was allowed a whole 20min. to drive around. I can't explain the feeling of having that power at your feet. V8 twin turbo with intercooler, one fast mofo. Naturally I didn't really get to see what it could do because I was afraid to take my bosses car too fast, but I know it'd keep up with your vette, maybe even beat it. I tell you what, when I'm out of college and earning 60 grand a year, yes right out of college, I'll make my down payment and give you a hollar, if your close enough we'll see. Cantgetlayed, I agree with you but I just wanted to point out that a Supra has a V6 with twin turbos. I am sure it was just a typo but just letting you know. And just for the record, anyone who would take a vette over a Skyline or a Supra obviously doesnt know the potential of those acrs. v6 turbo cars are some of the fastest street cars in the world. First of all I agree with the guy who said fast cars that look good are the shit, regardless where they come from..Who is gonna bash a Ferrari Or Lambroughini?? Or any other hot car. And I certainly do not claim to be the fastest in the land my "mostly" stock vette has had me tooling along at 150..does it have more..I believe so but thats all the higher I had it. Do I drive like an idiot..yes at times I do, sorry but it's like muscles if ya gott'em flaunt'em. I don't do this stuff on crowded roads but at 100-150 things pop up quick. Hell, I have even gotten the famous BJ while doing 125, (glad I didn't hit any bumps). So I am always up for a challenge so when you get out of school cantgetlayed come see me we will go for run. BB is my second passion. Cars have always been my first. I love speed and fast cars. The only thing that I don't like about Mustangs and Camaros is that alot of these young punks get them, throw some Flowmasters on them, and drive around like they own the road. Another thing is that it seems like everyone in the whole world drives a Mustang and Camaro. I hate the fact that alot of guys are trying new things like getting small cars to go fast and then they have all those "domestics rule" guys making fun of them. Nothing wrong with trying something new. Another bad thing about domestics is that everyone already knows they are pretty quick so getting into a race isn't that easy. But if I take out my 93' 240sx which will soon be getting a turbo, I guarantee I can get into a race with just about any little hothead with flowmasters and show him a good view of my tailights. Sleepers can be alot more fun then a well known fast car. Either way fast cars rule, import or domestic. I take back my comment about you Jacko. Badatta2d: that is a good point. Out of the box a domestic can usually beat an import, but that doesn't mean there isn't potential. I am not saying I don't like domestics but I don't like people that rag on imports. Vettes are always gonna be fast cars and they are a true American traditon. I love the new ones. It is about time that Chevy got a little creative with their design team and made a beautiful car that is a good bang for the buck. Same with the new Mustangs. They both needed a good facelift and now they are much more appealing cars. I would love to have a new one one but an older Mustang or Camaro ('80s versions)?? Give me a Honda Civic ony day over those outdated beasts. You must also remember that there are plenty of imports, old and new, that are quick "out of the box". Remember the little Mitsubishi Starion? My uncle had one and that is one fast car. Out of the box, it can hang or beat the majority of domesics. | ||

The one thing that is definitely good about imports is that they are usually alot lighter in weight than other domestic cars. And personally I like a car that can accelerate hard and still have very nimble maneuvering. I like it all. Razor sharp handling and plenty of punch. That's the reason I love SOME imports. You give them power and you have got a light weight car that is light enough to wip through the turns and be extremely agile. You can add 100 horsepower to say, my 240SX and I'll be eating up Mustangs. My car is rear wheel drive and only weighs a little over 2500 lbs. Not to mention the fact that it has a 2.4 liter engine which for an import is very big. Add a turbo and wholla!, you've got one hell of a sleeper. | ||

After getting black outs, and dark tints what else should I add to make it a good lookin car, it's black and I already have a spoiler and some sweet ass rims. And after I get my cycle, I'm gonna need to spend my money on something, might as well be performance, but on a budget, what would you suggest? ------------------ | ||

About the last car on the road i worry about or have to "soup" up to beat is Mustang. I am not bashing them but they are not that fast. I have a buddy who has a beautiful black 99 it is quick but not fast if you know what I mean. Yes the make that 1 high priced low low production stang that is supposed to be really fast. I realized the day I picked up my vette and was passed by a viper that there is always someone in something faster. But for headturning power and respect I'll keep my vette. Peace bros. Later | ||

The only thing I can think of is a body kit, lookswise. Stick with the basics as far as performance goes. Most people will tell you to get one of those big chrome intakes with the funnel filter. If you don't care about looks and just are worried about performance then just get a Drop in K&N filter and cut a big hole in your stock airbox where the air flows in. I have had both kinds on my car this method works just as good if not better than the big chrome intake tubes and it will save you about $100 too. Other than that, you can get a free flowing exhaust. Thes two mods shouldn't cost you much and you should see a nticeable difference in performance. The K&N will cost you about $45 and the exhaust will cost you anywhere from $200 to $400. A cat back system will offer the most performance gains. I don't know much about Grand Am's so I don't know if they make a header for your car. There are several places on the net that make very good performance mods for many small cars so try searching the net. I bet you will probably even find a site dedicated to Grand Am's because there is a website for just about every car imagineable. These guys will probably have tried different things and will be able to give you the best advice about what works and what is a waste of money. Soon I will probably get some new cams, header, exhaust, and a Jim Wolf Technologies chip upgrade. All of this will probably cost me about a grand. I have a friend with this same setup on the same car and he runs mid 14's in the quarter mile and runs with Stangs and Camaros easily. Then comes the turbo!! Cantgetlayed, the thing to remember is that an engine is basicly just like a big air pump. So the more air you get in there, the better. Most factory intakes have all types of tubing connected in an effort to make the engine quieter. Rip all of the tubing that ISN'T BETWEEN the engine and the air filter out! Then cut that big whole and you should notice a pretty big improvement. I just put on a K&N myself and cut a HUGE whole in the airbox. I noticed a pretty good jump in power and it is alot louder and deeper. My friend even commented that it sounds almost like I've got an exhaust on my car now. Makes it much more fun to drive. | ||

A BMW M3 will destroy any domestic or foreign shitbox no matter how much modification. In fact, I used to have a nice BMW325i that blew away most cars on the road. Also, no car on earth corners like a BMW so you may be able to get in front of me for a second but you will be eating the side-rail when we hit a corner. Yep, those M3's are bad cars. Big V6 and rear wheel drive. A true "driver's car". I would personally love to have a Z3 or that new one from the bond movie, the Z5 I think. Very good cars. I don't know about being able to beat anything on the orad. What are those performance numbers, 0-6- and quarter mile?? From memory, they are very good but not the best. Correct me if I am wrong, 2Thick, not much of a BMW fan myself. I do love the M3's though, great cars. | ||

I stand corrected. I knew that but accidentally wrote V6. It is a 3.0 Liter in line 6 with twin turbos and, of course, rear wheel drive. Definite potential for a 10 second screamer with the stock bottom end and bolt on upgrades. Toyota and Nissan make absolutely bulletproof motors. In Japan, Hondas are no big deal at all. Over their the Nissan Silvia and the Nissan Skyline are some of the most popular and powerful cars. My dreamcar would probably be a Skyline. 6 cylinder engine, twin turbos, and all wheel drive not too mention the older ones weigh around 2800 lbs. Those motors can crank out 700 horsepower to the wheels with no internal modifications to the bottom end of the motor which would give you a specific output of around 240 horses per liter of displacement. Now that is what I call the car of all cars. I love ferraris too but the Skyline is still at the very top of my list. [This message has been edited by Maverik (edited September 08, 2000).] | ||

In fact the 3 series are one of the few cars on the road with an inline-6. That is why they scream. I think the Porsche Boxter also has an inline-6 (but it is mid-engine). Maverik, Anyway, they are not lighting fast in 0-60. Probably about 5.5 seconds for the M3, but that is stock. It is the torque that gets your attention. A BMW is a car ready for infinite modification. I do not recall the quarter mile but I will tell you that this car does not stop accelerating until you hit the governor. Yeah, I just looked up a website on ask.com and found that the 0-60 is anywhere from 5.5 to 6 seconds. They said that a magazine got the 6 second reading. And from what I just read it is a better car than I had imagined. 3.2 liters with 330 horsepower and around 300 lbs of torque. The magazine reviews I just read pitted it against several Porsches and it outclassed them all in almost everything. Truly a great sports car. And I agree there is plenty of potential. Throw some sort of forced induction on ther and it would be one of the baddest cars on the road. Come to think of it I remeber reading about one guy in a magazine who did some sort of M3 conversion on his car, built up the engine with stronger internals and lower compression and a big fat turbo and it was in the low 12's or high 11's in the quarter mile on street tires. Now if they just weren't so expensive on insurance, maybe I could justify buying one. Until then I will stick to sleepers. Cheaper on insurance and very fun to play with. Insurance doesn't know if I put a turbo on my car but they definitely know when you BUY a fast car and then you are gonna be paying for it! My current car, the 240SX is a very underrated car. It has many benefits and that is why I bought it. It has the independent suspension of its big brother, the 300ZX, it's rear wheel drive, it's light weight (around 2550 lbs) and has a very big 4 cylinder motor. The motor is often looked down upon because it is the exact same motor that Nissan puts in it's trucks but it is a big ole motor (for a 4 cylinder anyway) and when built up properly can easily put out over 400 horsepower with a turbo. I do not love the styling but I do love the handling. It just needs some more power, some suspension upgrades and some good wheels and it will be one fast little ride. Well, that is my hope anyway. It would make a great sleeper. No one thinks they are fast so it would be fun to race some domestic cars and watch the look on their faces when I beat them. I kinda dig my 96 Mustang Cobra. The first year of the 4.6 liter DOHC. It'll do. Sorry, little foreign fart mobiles just look like shit. I mean I've got leather and luxury on top of style. I'm not a redneck, and I've never had anyone in a rice burner even think about challenging me at a light or what not. I've never driven the V6 turbo Celica, but that car sounds like something that might go. Plus they look good. Turbos shred. Way better than Superchargers. Although for the buck you can't beat a nice little nitrous kit. About 70 HP on to my already 305. Little or no damage to the motor, HEY it's kinda like a smart, thought out, roid cycle! You start with something good and just add a little juice to make it truly superior! | ||

Dude, I was an undefeated Thai boxer for 1 1/2 then went on to regular boxing. I was the Golden Gloves Heavyweight state champ and fought for the Super-Heavyweight State championship and almost won giving up over 40 pounds and 6 inches. Believe me, running into a street wise martial artist, will only serve to teach HIM, how to fight what it's really like to fight. They used to throw black and brown belts in with us thai boxers all the time. They got the holy shit beat out of them everytime. There's nothing like fucking donkey punch to the head to make you realize that all of your little katas and shit mean nothing. | ||

Let me guess; you probably think that there is nothing but Japanese guys working there. Whoa! Whoa! I wasnt flaming you dude! And streetwise martiel arts isnt about katas at all. It actually trains you for the ufc/ ifc type of combat. We also do thai boxing thats mixed in. Im not saying this style is better than other styles I was just making a little point dude. | ||
