Bros:

I know this was kicked around a little with the Madden article a while back, but I'd like to revisit the concept and get as much feedback as possible. I am contemplating writing an article on the topic for a medical or lay journal.

Here's the question:

Would you support a reform in the AAS laws that would allow physicians to prescribe AAS for personal use in the US? Importation, distribution and possession of non-prescribed AAS would remain illegal, but doctors could prescribe them and access to FDA approved drugs would be permitted.

YES or NO, and WHY? and/or what would you suggest to improve the current situation?

Thanks,

F1hybrid

As it stands rightnow users cannot afford the US anabolics with anadrol being $1200-$1300 per hunderd and Oxandrin being almost $400.00 per bottle. Testosterones are almost all out of production (except the topical shit). Even the dirt cheap generic deca's (Lymphomed) are long since gone.
I support the concept though.

F1: "Would you support a reform in the AAS laws that would allow physicians to prescribe AAS for personal use in the US?"

Not to be sarcastic brother, but...don't you think the response from this forum will be biased? Obviously the individuals on this board would support any reform that eliminates [some or all] of the restrictions on AAS use.

F1: "Importation, distribution and possession of non-prescribed AAS would remain illegal, but doctors could prescribe them and access to FDA approved drugs would be permitted."

This is the current law.

You need to focus on changing the mindset of the "traditional" medical community (i.e. juice should not be viewed as just another resource to "fix" a problem or condition but convince them that body "enhancement" via steroids has it's value as well). Another battle, the legions of "clueless fucks" that now consider steroids on the same plane as crank, "H", and unbelievably, pot . To the masses drugs are drugs are drugs, and in their minds they are all bad.

A daunting task, but...If you take up the challenge, good luck.

Funny... that's how the law is already.

Many pharmaceutical companies are now producing many steroids for prescription use now that it is acceptable to prescribe them for issues such as HIV wasting and hormone replacement therapy for older men (and some women) who have zero sex drive. The doctors, though, that are going to provide them are the ones motivated enough to learn the truth.
