Tell you what, next time I go to TJ, I want to use a "mule." Almost got busted coming back across. Unfortunately, my buddy and I tend to stand out even when we don't want to. Customs got ready to go thru our stuff, the tabs we did have were in up-to-date prescription bottles. I just feel like with such a close call, that we need to use a different means of transportation. Does anyone have any advice on the "mule" method of transportation? How does that work? Please advise. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I have two a few thoughts on this. I would never walk across. That to me sounds like a bust waiting to happen. We drive across. Then we shop for a bit. Buy some additional tourist crap in addition to whatever else we need. Then we drive to Otay to cross. We stop along the way and have tacos in Col. Libertad. We order extra food, for waiting in line. The wait has been averaging 30 minutes for us. It's real easy to be sitting there munching on tacos, as we pull up, tell them our nationality, where we went, and were on our way! If you want to find someone down there to mule it across for you, I don't have any suggestion, other that to watch you ass. That sounds like a rip-off waiting to happen. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
