Everyone on the board here has repeatedly stated that Clomid and Nolvadex can be legally imported to Canada and the US for personal use. However, I just checked the Canada customs website (www.ccra-adrc.gc.ca) which classifies prescription drugs as a "controlled substance" that require a permit or some other authorization to obtain (ie. prescription). Can someone clear my confusion?     | ||

I will tell you something about Canada. They seize everything because they did not receive any tax money from the purchase. They don't care what it is. 2thick, the website also states that the postman will come to collect the government's randsom (GST) when he delivers. On a side note, (if you have imported clomid from a non-domestic source) have you had problems most of the time? Thanks for the previous input. | ||

I have seen the friendly postman who collects GST as often as a seizure letter. I am a happy taxpayer so I would never rob this wonderful country of its tax money. Therefore, I buy all of my Clomid in Canada (with a script, of course). My good friend (on the other hand) does receive packages and has a very low seizure rate. You won't get anything for clomid, it'll be fine. If you get it from newsbc, it's the cheapest, don't know exact prices though. | ||

2Thick is right about the taxes..if the package is too large Customs will think there is a dollar value and charge tax (rarely). I've had many small packages (not gear) delivered to my mailbox but once I got a notice that I had to go to the post office and pay about $4 dollars tax plus a $5 service charge..the package wasn't opened though, I've probably had about a dozen items (non gear) shipped to Canada in the last year and none of them were opened. | ||

Clomid is not a scheduled drug in canada. It is only available by prescription in canada. You can import up to 3 months worth once every quarter of the year.The only grief you will get is if you order 5000 tabs and say personal use.If you dont intend to become a source, then you need not worry about this either. Go to http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hpb-dgps/therapeut/zfiles/english/guides/directiv/import_e.html and read carefully,it is all there. | ||

Read the small print..... Most people do not receive it in the following manner. "...inspectors may allow entry of an initial 3-month supply of a drug, if the drug is packaged in hospital or pharmacy dispensed packaging. I would like to see those seizure notices for my own info. I assume they are your friends that you mentioned earlier so if you could block out his name and post them I would appreciate it.The way I read the info,and it appears we have the same info with those lines you quoted, is that the TPP allows the importation unless prohibited by law. If it was prohibited by law your friend would likely have faced some consequences. I believe that it is a mess of red tape and the info says that they are "primarily concerned that these importations will not be diverted for commercial purposes" ie:resale.I am not doubting that some packages may have been seized but only because of the ambiguity of the directive. It would be intresting to know if anyone had received in canada after the package had been inspected/opened.Its not that I dont believe you 2thick, it just appears we see it differently. I am going to call Health Canada and try to get a solid answer, will post update later. | ||

I know of people who have received packages that had "Inspected and released by Customs Canada" (or something similar)on it. | ||
