I went down to look at a new gym today, its local about 10 mins walk from my house in one of these posh country clubs but they have just fitted a new Gym and it looks good.

My old gym is 9 miles away and i dont drive so can be a bit of a cow to get there all the time so i go to check this new gym out and its ok. So i enquire about membership and you cant just get a member ship for the gym its an all in thing. So i fork out 350 pounds for a year so i dont have to pay the joining free of 100 pounds fucking lot of money but i save more than traveling to the old gym so i figure its better on the long run.

Anyway i fill in all these forms and pay her the cash and she gives me this membership card so i ask is it ok if i use the gym now and she says I HAVE TO DO AN INDUCTION so she rings this instrutor there and he pops round and this guy is about 140 pounds max and he says that he will sign me in.

So i figure i gotta spend 10 mins to 20 mins with this bloke telling me how to use weights (Which i think i know by now) anyway he is like there and says when are you avalible to do? it so i say NOW he goes i can fit you in on monday..! I say what..! Mind you this guy does not look busy and there are like 2 people in the gym and its gonna take him about 10 mins to show me round. Also i lookt at his induction book and today and sunday where free little prick im sure he is just trying to get at me.

So i tell this guy that i know how to use the fucking weights and pull out 4 cards for other gyms i go to and he still says that i have to do the fucking induction.

So by this time im pissed right off cos i have this cocky little fuck thinking he is god and im sure he is doing it to piss me off.

Anyway i told him that he was a prick and i would be looking forward to seeing him on monday. Im gonna give him so much shit, im gonna ask him to spot for me when i train on monday.

So i then talk to the manager bear in mind i have just walked in and payed cash for a year membership and can use the gym anyway this fat woman comes out and trys to explain that for insurance i have to do and induction. which i guess is fair enough..!

I had a go at her anyway and said that this is not the way to impress customers and told her that i may want to cancle my membership at this point she got a little worried. So she was very sorry and had a word with the instructor who gave her some lame excuse whe he could not do it etc so she came back and said that she could not help and it would have to be monday. Anyway I got a half year extra membership out of this.

Just had to rant..!

I hate little pissy gym instructors..!
