Running a mile can burn up a lot of calories that you may need for your post recovery. I would say cut back on the cardio if your doing this cycle as a bulking cycle.

actually a mile is not that much, thats like running for 10 minutes. but don't do it after your workout. jog at a separate time of the day from your workouts.

Do cardio three times a week only and not at the same time as your training. It will help to keep your fat levels down, because an increase in your fat is inevitable when bulking.

I doubt running just a mile will do much for gains but what is it going to accomplish as far as fat burning? Probably not much here either. I would just bulk now and then cut after. It's obvious a personal choice however as you know your body better than anybody. Any cardio will cut into my gains due to my high metabolism.

one mile a day wouldn't affect much in the way of gains. 5 miles day would have a significant effect on a cycle if your joints can take that.

I agree with gamer. Cardio after working out is fine for weekend warriors, but if you've made the step to the next level and have invested your money in gear and time and energy being on this board, find a different time to do cardio. To be honest, doing no cardio while "on" might be a better option. Just my opinion because that's what's worked for me.
