If you don't think our gov't is trying to come up with a way to charge for the internet, you're living in a dream world. They want to control the internet so badly they come up with hoaxes themselves. How about the one about the FBI needs to invade your privacy and read all e-mails to protect your children from drugs or protect us from terrorists. Who are you 1911. | ||

This story goes around every 6 months or so in some fashion. Its well documented on the Urban Myths web sites. First off, its not "mail", its a service provided by an ISP and routed through other routers and ISP's. It is basically indistinguishable from any other type of data transfer, just a bunch of info shooting through the web. Just because its called e "MAIL" doesnt make it mail... |
