I got this recipe about two weeks ago for a drink.

Here it is:

1 cup of milk
1 banana
1 package KNOX Gelatin
1 tbsp of wheat germ
1 tbsp of oat bran
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tbsp honey
1/4 peanut butter.

If you put all the peanut butter it tastes horrible so instead I put in more wheat germ and less peanut butter.

I've been taking it every morning for the last two weeks.
What do you guys think? Is it worth it? I think it is.

Is something wrong with drinking a Meal Replacment shake or do you just like to make these concoctions where you don't know how much protein, carbs, and fat you are getting. Plus that shit sounds nasty.

jdis...I calculated the nutritional info

protein: approx 36 grams
carbs: approx 76 grams
calories: this is of the top of my head but something like 750

I don't weigh a lot so 40 grams of protein is like 1/3 of my daily intake.

Well, thats cool how much fat is in it? Anyway if you don't weigh alot I guess it don't matter. I still recommend Protein shakes, just better quality protein than you can get out of groceries.

I do actually take a protein shake....just at night after I workout.

Get all-natural peanut butter. Not Skippy or whatever. I think the beneficial fats in it are more abundant.

ether...a bro if you dont weight that much you need to start swallowing protien shakes more than just 1 time a day. shoot for at least 4 a day between meals. i try to get 1 every hour(22gr) between my meals. plus eat lots of red meat.
