Dan Duchaine said even the real GH sucked (he said it might have some use if you are also on a heavy cycle including insulin- read: a professional trying to add final touches). A big time pharmaceutical company, I think it was Merck or UpJohn or somebody like that, I can't remember, gave up on trying to produce an oral GH pill because it just didn't work very well. GH releasers are a 100% absolute total sausage up the ass ripoff.

Levodopa actually acts as a strong stimulant. It does have powerful GH releasing abilities, and has been used with some success in treating Parkinson's patients and people with Alzheimer's. Catapres has some GH releasing properties, but appears to be better on paper than in real world application. Keep in mind that stimulating endogenous GH production will have nowhere near the profound effect that adding GH exogenously will have.

Duchaine was wrong about GH. It should, however, be used by advanced bodybuilders who need to break plateaus. I'm not that big on its use for life extension and rejuvenation, for reasons too complex to elaborate on here.

I sent you an abstract that you might find interesting. I have to say though, that I personally find the use of l-dopa to raise GH levels in healthy adults to be unwieldy. I've heard of a lot of people experiencing problems such as you had. I don't have enough experience with it to know whether or not those symptoms do subside.

L-Dopa will increase GH many fold. However, there is also a concommitant increase of prolactin when you take L-Dopa, which makes the GH released useless.

i have been toying with the idea of finding a way to block the release of prolactin though. Any idea?

Viagra might work for that. Nitric oxide can block the release of prolactin, and Viagra increases NO levels.

Catapres (clonidine) and Propranolol are not to be used as GH releasers. Both will make you lethargic as Hell and clonidine's GH releasing effects decrease with use. Propranolol can make you fat, by increasing appetite.

L-dopa is not much better than exercise in increasing GH levels. Also, unless one has Sinemet, which contains Carbidopa (a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor) it will be converted to dopamine mostly in the peripheral tissues. Dopamine in the periphery will cause increased heart rate and blood pressure. Plus, a major side effect of L-dopa is dyskinesia, uncontrollable muscle contractions.

While I agree with cockdezl
I see nothing wrong with the use of l-dopa/ and or dopamine enhancers.
taking gear is often associated with increased dopamine production- resulting in the increased feelings of confidence, agression and paranoia(less common). Thus the use of dopamine enhancers can help with post cycle depression, where dopamine levels have dropped sometimes below baseline. piracetam as well has been used for post cycle blues, with good effect.

THE TRUTH, received your email.Thank you enjoyed the info.I will try the L DOPA(sinemet) again this time right before I go to bed.I don't beleive in the release of prolactin from L DOPA or how this hormone could make the HGH worthless. But if anyone has any studies on this please feel free to email them to me....SAMM

MACRO, I agree with your idea of post cycle dopaminergics use. Aside from the psychotrophic effects they may bring, they may also be useful in restoring the HPT axis, since I have read several studies showing gonadotrophic activity of agents like Parlodel and Deprenyl. But one still must be wary of the shitty effect that dopaminergics can have.

P.S. Bromocryptine (Parlodel) has some very interesting studies concerning fat loss and effects on hyperinsulinemia.

First of all, I would like to thank You guys for all the posts !
And about the raise in Prolactin, someone could use Bromocriptine, wich is effective and CHEAP (at least in Brazil) !
I just wonder if that would not be too much stuff to take ? Specially just after a cycle with your body crying for a detoxi BREAK ! Would that be worthy ?
The truth about this stuff is:
They really raise our GH production, but just for a few hours.
