Hey guys I need some help, I ordered some gear online and it seems "the man taketh away". What will happen now? I did'nt order too much, only about $275.00, should I worry and dread every knock on the door?     | ||

Government: 1 You: 0 That sucks bro. Happened to me a few times until I ran out of addresses to get it sent to and had to find a domestic source. I wouldn't worry about them coming to your house. I hope you used a fake name or badly misspelled yours. Even if you didn't I think you'll be fine. | ||

Bro, OK i had some stuff stoped by customs once and as long as you leave it you should be ok dont chase them firstly and as long as it was only a small amount they will not chase it. Your gonna have to put it down as a loss. But just to be safe make sure your house is clear as they somtimes like to pop in unexpected they dont do it very often but they might. Also you are now on a data base and ANYTHING you order to your add WILL be CHECKED they do it to stuff i get all the time sometimes they open it and re-seal it with there little customs sticker saying this has been inspected by customs and excise etc...! But aside from that you should be ok and if they do ask just deny all of it and say you know nothing about it. ------------------ | ||

Slopain, Beerfart and M!Kai are all correct. If this is your first one seized 1) act totally ignorant 2) don't pursue it in any way at all 3) never use that addy again. I think on small orders they send the letter and look the other way ....the first time. However, your addy goes into a database and if another one comes thru with that addy.....you may become eligible for the "grand prize drawing" presented in person at your front door.....catch my drift? You want your crib searched? Probably not. |
