Guys, I just went out to Arizona on a mini-vacation and am at about 4,500 ft. I hit the gym right after I got in town, and went through my standard chest/triceps routine. I really didn't have the strength that I was used to. Its not so much that I was winded, it was just that I couldn't do the reps that I normally do towards the later sets in the workout. Does altitude have an effect on anaerobic capacity? I felt fine walking into the gym, so I expected a better workout. Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
