Is there a way to tell if you have hernia w/ out going to the doctor. I have some pain on my right side below my waste line. It is more annoying than painful though.

maybe it's no hernia. My hernia (between 4th and 5th disk) gave me an awsome pain in my left leg, while there was nothing wrong with the leg. I never felt anything in the back.
If it doesn't go away, go see a doctor, for you're own good.
