I just saw a post that said to drain the vials and put it in another container when bringing gear over the border, if someone was to do that, wouldn't that be dangerous? Would the gear still be sterile and free of bacteria if it had to sit around in some kind of other container for a few days or weeks before it was used?     | ||

No it is not an extremely sterile way to do it, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get your gear. You must make sure you have thoroughly sterilized the bottle and then before you ever used any of that you would need to get some syringe filters to inject in to. This would be the best way to do it. Make sure you get some filters though, or your risk of infection is much greater. |
