I just began to consume dairy again after a 16 week forced hiatus. It is so blatantly evident to me, dairies terrible effects on my condition. It completly transformed my appearance for the worse. Honestly though, I can't say that it bothers me much. I missed it tremendously. Milk irritates my digestive system, gives me gas, and gives me horribly thick mucous. A little is okay for vitamin D and calcium. If you're not taking in alot of milk, make sure you get alot of calcium elsewhere- recent studies have shown that high protein diets pull calcium out from your bones. Keep in mind though that we're one of the only species of animal that drinks milk after childhood. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I cut out dairy products except on the weekends, when I try and up my carbs and sugars. If taken in excess, any kind of milk can give you a somewhat smooth appearance, unless you happen to be on growth. A buddy of mine drank a gallon of whole milk per day while on GH and got hard as hell. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I too have cut milk and dairy from my diet except for my post workout meal. got this from the guru Dan himself, post w/o meal consist of 2 cups nonfat milk with raisen bran or cornflaks and whey with grape juice, this meal is high glycemic and tends to help my pump last longer. >>>>BURN<<<< ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Unless milk causes you to retain water, which I don't believe it does...there is absolutely no reason to believe it would make you look soft. What, does the milk get stored under you skin. Please...that's irrational. I drink 3 gallons of milk a week...whole milk...and I have always been lean and hard. I don't trust that website (milksucks.com) It is done by PETA and they have an agenda...end farming. They believe that to kill a rat to save a child's life is wrong. If you look at some of their links, they are to similar minded organizations. The PCRM, would like everyone to become vegetarians, they also don't believe in research involving animals...sounds like they have a similar agenda to PETA doesn't it. I would bet that alot of their references are from physicians who are in bed with PETA. I wouldn't trust much of what they say. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I've been drinking a gallon of 1% per day since I started my bulking period 3 months ago. I've actually noticed that after I drink milk my physique looks better, more pumped, fuller, etc... It does give me gas like a motherfucker though. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

It is believed by some that consuming dairy products causes your body to hold water in between your muscles and skin giving you a smoother appearance. I have seen no evidence of this myself. I regularly drink up to a gallon of skim a day. I cut all dairy out of my diet for 2 weeks and so no difference what so ever. Recently I changed from skim to 2% and whole, keeping my cals the same though. (Instead of drinking 2cups of skim I have 1 of 2%, roughly the same cal's). I was away from home for a week when I tried this little experiment. On my return my gf could not believe how much more cut I looked. By a mirror estimate it looked like I dropped 1-2% BF in a week, I did not change anything else in my diet besides the milk. Something to try, just make sure to strictly monitor your total cal intake. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Gentlemen, I wasn't alluding to the absolute fate of all those who consume dairy. I am simply saying that in the same fashion that all we do is relative, milk for my person produces noticable difference in my physical appearance and condition of my muscle. I know others similar to me in this respect, I also know people who consume gallons of the stuff weekly and remain solid.
