Here's some info on Triacana: Triacana is a naturally occuring metabolite of the thyroid hormone L-triiodthyromine (LT-3), which is the strongest hormone produced in the thyroid gland. Both LT-3 and LT-4 hormones are produced in the thyroid gland and collectively regulate the bodies metabolism. Just like prohormone supplements compared to steroids, (because it is a precursor) it is almost as effective as the real thing and very popular because it gives great results and is much safer. Triacana has been administered by physicians for the treatment of thyroid disorders and obesity and has proven its effectiveness in the medical community. In the bodybuilding community Triacana is widely used for its fat burning characteristics. By significantly raising the body's metabolism, triacana will help an athlete effectively loose body fat percentage without the usual extreme dieting that must take place. Most often, triacana is "stacked" with a steroid and/or other fat loss drugs like clenbuterol or ephedrine. A common dosage of triacana varies depending on the athletes goals. Triacana is much safer than the LT-3 hormones like Cytomel and Thybon, therefore thyroid dysfunction is a very uncommon side effect. It is smart to start off slow with dosages around 2-3 .35mg tabs/day and moving up daily to somewhere around 10-14 tabs/day, spiting up the dosages throughout the day. Then at the end of the cycle, taper off in the same manner. A cycle of triacana should never be longer than 12 weeks to prevent any real thyroid threat. Other side effects associated with triacana are tremors, dizziness, nervousness, restlessness, irregular heart beat, nausea, excessive sweating, diarrhea, and it is also possible to experience other complications due to the rapid weight loss or body-fat percentage loss that results from its use. Just remember, this is a prohormone, meaning the body must perform some chemical reaction for it to be effective. Cynomel/Cytomel/T3 is the actual hormone. T3 has very few side effects when used properly. Look for cycles of T3 on here (I just posted on a couple of hours ago) that last no longer than five weeks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I always thought that triacana, as a metabolite of t3, was a product of t3, not a precursor. Other than that point, everything else in GR's post sounds right. i used tri-cuts on my last cutting cycle along with metabolic thyrolean and ECA. i don't exactly know what worked and what didn't, but i got my BF down to 2.3% ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Do a search on PUBMED for Triax. You will see that Triacana is NOT as good as Cytomel, since it does not increase metabolism as much as T3, yet suppresses TSH much more than T3. This is the very reason for it's clinical use is TSH suppression. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Clen rocks for fat-burning. Have done both cytomel and clen. The rebound afterwards sucked!!! I've heard that the cytomel is more responsible for the weight increase after finishing the cycle. FDA just recently issued a notice to take TRICANA off the market. Don't know when it goes into effect or if it already has. Back to cytomel,this cycle I am debating even using it and how much it really helps. Any other opinions out there? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
