I often see people mentioning the dangers of pins breaking off while an injection. Has this ever really happened to anyone? If so, how did you get it out? E.R. room?     | ||

That is practically impossible. Test it yourself. Grab a pin and try to break it off with your fingers. You will notice that it goes way past 90 degress before breaking. ------------------ UP-TO-DATE information on STEROIDS and PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS: | ||

You know that is what I thought. But you constantly hear people worrying about it. I was wondering if anyone REALLY had this happen. Damn where is LUVS2? | ||

Even the 25 gauge pins are really pliable. You would have to screw up big time, or have a defective dart to break one. Not saying it doesn't happen, but certainly a long shot. | ||

First, I have NEVER heard of this happening to anyone anywhere. Not that it couldn't happen but hell I would think the odds would something on the order of 1 in a million. | ||

Maybe if you were reaching around to your sphincter (Lunatic) and mess up it will break but that is unlikely. ------------------ | ||

I read a horror story, probably made up, about a newbie who stuck himself in the wrong part of the glute and hit the nerve on his spine and it made him jump and it broke the needle off. It was probably just a B.S. story to scare people away from AS. But it gives me chills just thinking about it. ------------------ | ||

B-Funk, I hear stories like that all the time and I was wondering if anyone had ever had that experience. Sounds more like an urban myth to me. And SWOLL - you must send me the thread on Lunatics (the guy who injected into his left sphincter). I am dying to read that. |
