What's up bros? I haven't visited the board in about 6 months. Looks likes things are looking good. Still see a lot of the old names here. I just had complete reconstructive shoulder surgery so I've been down & out recently. Doc says it will be a few months bfore I'm back to normal. I've lost 20 lbs. due to the surgery already and its been about 2 months. I just wanted some advice on if I should take any gear once I get back to lifting or will this be risky to my complete recovery. If yes, then what should I take? My last cycle was a Sust/Deca stack and it went OK, but I don't really want to get massive. I just want to gain a few pounds and get really cut up. Right now I'm 5'9" and 176 lbs. I'd like to be a solid 185-190 lbs. My bf% is around 10% right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I hear deca is good to help recovery(although I have never personally used deca), maybe another sus/deca stack would be good...I would avoid winny and fina....I would personally lift for a little while, before using gear to help...glad to see you back...hope the recovery goes well bro, keep us posted.. big-guy

CAnadianoak sounds good. you could substitute winny for the sust if you arent in a hurry, or do the sust/deca, then for really good quality gains try winny/eq- winny for 300mg/wk, EQ for 400mg/wk. It will be a lot of needles , but you will be ripped and hard. ------------------

I like the idea of the eq/winny superdave... I personally would not go with test so soon, Im sure I'll get flamed for that one. Good luck, nice to see a guy thats been here a while. greenhouse

I'd take it easy until you're 100% healed, you see when you're on your body produces inferior collagen, which in turn makes any new connective tissue that your body is producing weaker than it normally would be. Let it heal COMPLETELY, and start training for about 6 months naturally, then your muscles/ligaments/tendons should be all healed up and used to the stress.

E2 is correct you must take it easy but it can be very effective in rehab to use porper gear with educated exercise programs. What I mean is although you will fell much stronger and be able to push more than you would when not geared up and you should not! The physiological healing time for any surgery of this type is about 6months to a year. I didn't say you wouldn't be back doing everything you wanted w/in the year, just that it wouldn't be fully healed. I have rehabed several athletes on gear and deca produces the most favorable results without the extreme strength gains of test. Stay away from the androgenic and more with anbolics (eq, primo, deca) They all promote faster recovery from exercise through nitrogen retention and deca is known for connective tissue strengthening. I have seen many people do fine as long as they are lead by proper rehab specialists. You will feel compelled to push your limits while on gear so remember to take it slow and by the book. Usually I can have an athlete back in full contact football 25% faster on gear than not. So, the bottom line is it works but you must be carefull. 200-400mg/wk 10weeks should do you fine. Email if you'd like to discuss this more. |
