i was watching the news yesterday that there was a steroid bust in Australia weeks prior to the olympics.... and they said that the coach of one athlete had an illegal substance on them... the product was hydroxycut... they said that the herbal form of ephedrine was found in the product... what do you think? Is ephedrine considered as a drug? ------------------ "Live by the gun, die by the gun"     | ||

I'm pretty sure that in Australia ephedrine and prohormones are illegal and the press just lumps them all together as "steroids" | ||

in a few contries ephedrine is indeed considered to be a drug....it wont be long till its taken off the market in the u.s. this stems from the fact that ephedrine is the base ingredient used in the illicit manufacture of methamphetamine. dhea and andro are illegal in many contries...go figure!@!#! Ephedrine is a banned substance by the IOC. It will get you just as disqualified as taking AS. | ||

Ando,DHEA and lots of things that are OTC here are considered controlled substances in both Canada and Austrailia. Everyone is on a steriod witch hunt in aussie-land right now with the Olympics getting ready to start. | ||

The bust in question was of a south african official and was first reported to have been found with 500 tabs of ephedrine,it was later reported that they had only found 15 tabs each containg 10mg of eph. | ||

I remember seeing a news article of a current affairs show here called "Today Tonight" where they were "exposing" creatine ... they interviewed local sports personalities who "had used" (oooooooh!) and found some hack doctor to say that it's dangerous to teenagers ... THE MEDIA ... FUCKING ROACHES!! ------------------ |
