I've been juicing for a while(not that long 2.5 years), but up until recently had never given insulin a try. Finally, being between cycles and hoping to ease the absolute agony of being completely off I took some fellow bbs advice and got some hum-r. Just for background I am 6ft and 225-30lbs at about 9% and 21 years old. Not unreal but damn good for my age and time lifting. Anyhow, I'm one of those compulsives who has every workout, cycle, weight, bf, and calorie I've consumed over the past 18 months logged on my computer lifting journal. Like I said compulsive. Getting to the point, I started the insulin, by itself, last week and the results have been impressive. After getting accustomed to the insulin and building my dosages have done the following for the past 5 days: 10 IU's preworkout along with creatine, alot of protien(60g) and enough carbohydrates(~100g) to keep me out of trouble (all in for of shakes for total quantity control). Then 15 IU's postworkout along with the creatine, protien and carbohydrate. Also, 1-2 hours later when I feel the hypoglycemia start to cranka again I consumer another 60 g of protien and around 100 g of carbs. Other than this I've kept my diet the same and done alittle more cardio to avoid fat gains. My results have been noticable strength gains and great pumps along with about 5lbs in the last week. Is this normal with insulin use alone? Am I doing anything wrong? I'd really like to hear anyones experiences or advice. Also, I know it is dangerous to use pre workout, but I keep some quick sugars (sugar water actually) in a thermos at the gym incase I feel my blood sugar is dropping too much. Vets please help me out I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks bro and sorry this was so long. Take care... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK BUT I NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE USING INSULIN PRE-WORKOUT, MOST PEOPLE INCULDING MYSELF USE IT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING BEFORE MY FIRST MEAL AND POST-WORKOUT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I to use it 1/2 hour before my workout but just 5ius and no giant carb load ie... 50 grams protien and 17 grams fat 21 grams of carbs hey no problems yet its been 2 weeks now and my pump is better than ever also I'm on the Anabolic diet so I carb up on the weekends. Oh yes I'm 6' 247lbs now at 10% and getting ready for my next cycle in 3 weeks ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

USING INSULIN PRE WORKOUT IS DEADLY. WHEN YOU TAKE INSULIN, YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR BODY IN DEMAND FOR FOOD. WHEN YOU PUT YOUR BODY IN AN INSULIN DRIVEN HUNGER AND WORKOUT AFTER, YOU RUN THE RISK OF SEVERE HYPOCLYCEMIA! YOU TAKE INSULIN AFTER WORKOUT AND BEFORE A CARB LOADING. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I use 25 IU post workout only..I was debating on uping it some, possibly taking 10 IU int he morning, 25 IU post workout...not sure though..you are right helps witht he pumps a lot, and I gained pretty good off it alone... as far as taking it pre-workout, I have recently started hearing about this, seems danggerous to me, and not really all that benefical..I would take it morning and post workout.... big-guy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hmm, although all seems to bee in working order I find that injections prior to training in the amount of 10-15iu's to be supperfluous. I would recommend that the shuttling properties of insulin be used only in a post workout as a recovery technique or in the mornings in conjunction with hgh. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks for the responses. As far as preworkout, I based this on renegade bbs insulin write up. The author said he went 15IU's pre and 20IU's post. I based my pattern on this as he seemed to have some experience with insulin. Anyhow, after the results started showing up so quickly, I was not eager to change a good thing. However, if you guys feel I'm not getting any real benefit from the pre workout shot then I'll stop. As far as it being deadly, I think that may be the case if you don't eat before your workout. I have been drinking a carbo shake which has prevented any problems, atleast this far. If I were to cancel the preworkout dose should increase the post dose? Just some questions I'm mulling over. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
