1.) Question: I am currently a drug free bodybuilder. I plan to take my body fat down to 5-8% this summer and then take low dosages of winstrol (injection) for 8-10 weeks to get that harden effect. I am 24 and experiencing a little thinning of the hair. Would this cycle of winstrol cause more thinning of the hair or hair loss? What other side effects could be caused from this cycle? Answer: Hard to know, without knowing the dosing and frequency, but hair loss would be seen in about 10-20%. 2.) Question: I've been looking for information on the negative side-effects of parabolin (Anabolic Steroid) and have not been very successful. Do you have any info that may be able to assist me in deterring a friend from using this? Answer: All of the anabolic steroids have the ability to cause liver damage, cardiomyopathy, acne vulgaris, renal changes and personality changes. Some patients are very susceptible, others less so. But, often severe organ damage results before patients are aware of problems since they tend not to be adequately monitored. 3.) Question: What is "Deca durobolin"? What does it do and what type of side effects does it bring with it? How does it rate to Answer: Deca-Durabolin is a steroid(decadron) usually used for injection. Decadron is more potent milligram for milligram than most steroids;but, the side effects are not different. Steroids in general cause more rapid aging of your body. Hence, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, cataracts, muscle weakness and atrophy, hardening of the arteries etc. These side effects take time to occur and for short periods there is usually no major problem except occasionally agitation or mental status changes. Side effects are dose and duration dependent in general.

Basically bullshit though. There was a study showing that a one once mouse liver could easily process thousands of grams of testosterone (non 7aa) with little or no adverse reactions in the liver tissue. Our liver is much, much larger and would therefore be capable of handleing it. To say that ALL testosterone is as harmful as a 7 alpha alkylated is foolish. Personality changes, mabye, due to changes is the horminal balance. Cardimyopathy is a reaching, as unless you have a perexisting condition or are using an unsafe (really large) amount there is no conclusive evidense pointing to any heart related concerns. The greatest concern should be your blood pressure. The hairloss bit I can agree with. Deca-Durabolin is more potent??? Than what? Andro? The whole purpose of a drug that is a derivative of testosterone is to get a reduced androgenic substance. When you reduce the androgenic effect you reduce the anabolic effect. So to say Deca is more potent that anything is crazy! Pure testosterone (whatever ester) is the standard that the others are measured by! All in all, doctors are not willing to look at steroids from a neutral standpoint. Look at all the bodybuilders of years gone... Arnold, Sergio, Mentzer, Zane, Haney... These guys are no spring chickens, and THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!!!!!! Hmmm, kinda makes you think... | ||

decadurabolin = Decadron ??????? I dont think so .. where was this guy given his doctorate ???? Universitad del caribe . fucking Decadron is Dexamethasone a corticosteroid ..... but it is available in pill form... maybe thats where these questions about deca in pills come from . | ||

Firstly, I just want to restate that those are not my opinions. They are the doc's. Now since that is out of the way... what I find interesting is what the doctor says in the last paragraph, "...side effects take time to occur and for short periods there is usually no major problem...Side effects are dose and duration dependent in general." And, that's from a doctor's point of view.

Doctors just tick me off is all. Coming from a time when they were prescribing them to us for bodybuilding, then seeing them turn 180 degrees and say the exact opposite of what they once said is the pinnacle of hippocracy! I guess its actually the governments pressuring them that caused it all to come about, but either way its a sore spot for me. I get looked at and whispered about because Im big and most people assume (correctly) that "oh, he must use steroids." They speak of it in the same tone they would of some dirt bad shooting heroin! No one realizes the intense effort and training we subject ourselves to to look this way. They think gear is "liquid muscle", just shoot and grow (of course these are the same people looking for the next Phen-Fen so they can lose fat without dieting or exercise, so I should consider the source I guess). 300kleen: Hey I know it wasnt your opinion. I think my favorite comment the doctor made was that AS side effects include "muscle weakness". Everyone who has had that side affect raise your hand (if you can). I am on testo and HGH for longevity purposes and the stuff works great. Never felt better. First time in a decade that I have been without back pain. Recently straight legged deadlifted 290 for 15 reps (no hand straps). I know this is not setting the world on fire, but at my age and after having disability recommended for me in 1997 I am happy as can be. I find more and more doctors are getting involved in anti-aging medicine. I found a new MD this week whose regime is primarily testo cyp injections and Eli liily Humatrope. His prices are great - $11 per IU for humatrope and his office visits are very inexpensive. The guy is very humble and down to earth - not the typical "delicate genius" persona.
