FIRST I HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS A GREAT BOARD WITH LOTS OF VALUABLE EXPERIENCES AND INFORMATION , I LIVE IN CANCUN , MEXICO AND I VE USED MODERATE AMOUNTS OF MILD STEROIDS SUCH AS DECA , PRIMO BOLAN ,WINSTROL AND PRIMOTESTON , ON AND OFF , FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF . I PREVIOUSLY WORKED OUT FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NATURALLY , I AM 43 YEARS OLD , 5, 11 FT AND WEIGH 195 POUNDS ; I D LIKE TO KNOW FROM THE THE MORE EXPERIENCED GUYS HOW SAFE IT IS TO USE THESE STEROIDS AT MY AGE AND WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE ME AS FAR AS PROTECTING MY HEALTH FROM SIDE EFFECTS , PROSTATE , LIVER , TESTICULAR FUNCTIONS , ETC... AM I STARTING TOO LATE ? SHOULD I JUST CONTINUE TO TRAIN NATURALLY? EXACTLY WHAT SHOULD I TEST FOR IN BLOOD EXAMS AND EVERY HOW LONG SHOULD I DO THEM? I WILL REALLY APRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS SINCE THIS TOPIC IS PRETTY MUCH TABOO DOWN HERE. THANK YOU MUCH.

Welcome, bro, but turn your CAPS LOCK off. As for being 43 and just getting into gear, there are several members of this board in exactly the same position. (No comment, BJAARKI) After discussions with some medical-type relatives of mine, I decided to undertake my first cycle now, at 44. I, too, have been training for years, just never got serious about it. The important things to get tested for are kidney function and thyroid function, as well as cholesterol levels and testosterone levels. You should definitely get a baseline exam done, so you'll have something to compare to after your cycle(s). I read that you had been using some stuff already, so I'd recommend going on and getting some tests done to see where you are now. I'm still definitely a novice at all this, but after LOTS of research on this board and other places, and lots of questions both on the board and through email, those are some of the things I've picked up on. Good luck, and keep us posted.

I'm 45 and have been cycling for some time now (although I took some time off and trained naturally from '93 thru '96). I'm still using modest doses (1200 or so mg/wk total). I believe that overall AAS has enhanced my quality of life, but I do expect a slightly reduced lifespan as an end result(mostly from strain on the heart resulting from lugging around more weight than my slender frame was designed to hold).

personally i wouldnt use steroids after 40 for the reason being is this, first of all ur body can not repair itself as fast, i mean if u damage ur liver or kidneys ur body might not be able to repair it. also with high blood presure at that age can lead to catisrophic results. if ur guna use juice use the weak, mild stuff. dont end ur life short just to look buff at 45 its not worth it be smart and stay away from the strong stuff, thats for young bucks like us. =) |
