Everyone talks about roid rage, I wanna skull fuck my ex and so forth. What I was wondering is can it have the opposite effect on you. I mean I am a 245 pound 5'10" Marine nicknamed Teddy Bear, and lately, everytime a scene in a movie pops (you know the scenes, the ones the girls like) or a I read a story in a magezine or paper, I get all choked up and teary eyed. I was never like this before. chesty ------------------     | ||

What are you on now? Anything different then previous cycles? I have not had that problem yet but it would be less stressful than extreme anger. | ||

Happens to me too...must be the clomid...but I still get worked up on the rage side easy during morning commute. ------------------ | ||

roids tend to make me very emotional as well. i mostly tend to get pissed off, but my feelings when i'm sad or depressed are also much more intense. hormones definitely have a direct correlation with emotions. | ||

I am the same way. Don't experience roid rage because it is a myth but I get wild ass mood swings. One second I am ready to go have fun and do something, and the next second I am so depressed I feel like crying. I don't, of course, but I sure feel like it. | ||

Mav, I hear ya, I do the exact samething. Even a slow love song on the radio will get me to the teary eyed land. I think the roid ragers were Type A people to begin with. Jae | ||

well guys, i'll tell you what does it to me(makes me emotional) if i take some sort of stimulant b4 i work out, when that begins to wear off, i am a case. i feel completely helpless and overly emotional. it is not an anger thing so much, it is a feeling of helplesness and depression. i know this is going to happen every time i take them, but then again, there are those days when i cant get motivated. so of corse i take them, and i get depressed. the other night, i just wanted to be alone, and that is so unlike my charecter. this whole cycle has had me in that state. dont know what it is..the things we do, the things we do! | ||

Look, let's settle this one, shall we? Of course steroid hormones affect mood. No compounds in the human body have more profound effects on mood and subjective wellbeing than sex hormones, which is what, basically, gear is. You think hormone levels don't affect mood, ask your Momma when she turns 50 (or, better yet, ask your Poppa). Really, you guys are scaring me. First off, I was natural for almost 17 years. Till last summer. People need to realize that steroids only amplify your natural personality for the most part. I am a type A person, yet I have control of my aggression. Anyway, don't let it scare you, it works and won't harm you if done right. chesty ------------------ | ||

Yeah, sometimes when on a heavy cycle you'll be driving home and that song will come on the radio. And the emotions will roll, until the assh**e cuts you off in traffic and then your ready to waste him with the 9 under the seat. It just goes that way sometimes. | ||
