Ok i have only done two real bulking cycles and during each one i gained a good solid 20 pounds.. problem is i have i guess a genetic predisposition to stretch marks.. each cycle i got them worse.. i mean i have them bad up my lats my delts across my chest big ones on even lower biceps.. and of course horrible half inch thick ones under armpits.. ok problem is im on a cutting cycle right now so i dont have to worry about stretch marks.. but i plan on bulking again this winter.. is there anyway that i can prevent anymore of this disgusting looking lines from popping up on my skin... its getting ridiculous if u could see it youd know what i mean.. so any way i can make sure that i dont get anymore on my next bulking cycle or should i stick to cutting cycles to make sure i dont get anymore.. anyone have any success with removing them somehow?? retin-a?? laser surgery?? Please help me out guys i really am having a hard time finding any info on this and would like some first hand experiences if possible..

man, i hate to say it but i think you are sol. I have never heard of anything that trully works to prevent this, I am the opposite, not one stretch mark. I have the genetics for stretchy skin I guess. I have heard about the vitamin e oil but this might be a rumor.

I use the Palmers cocoa butter formula (it's for pregnant woman) and vitamin e oil. Keep it very moistureized for a good amount of time before and oviousely during your cycle. This helps but I have a case of them from before I learned about this.

I recently heard about a process called Derma Peel Abrasion that is supposed to help with wrinkles and stretch marks. I have them too and am trying to fight it. I wonder if Retin-A cream would help prevent them? Later,

I use baby oil or coaoa butter cream. The key is to keep the skin moist so it is flexible and streches more easily. Granted if you have problems with acne during cycles, adding moisturizers will increase the acne. So you gotta decide which one you hate worse, the acne or the stretch marks. Probably the stretch marks. Some people claim that retin A or vitamin E oil can help reduce their appearance but nothing can get rid of them except surgery. Peace...Mav

Elasticin lotion, haven't tried it, they sell it at GNC and some other stores...supposed to loosen the skin up so it doesn't get worse--CAN'T GET RID OF 'EM, ONLY PREVENT FURTHER STRETCHING... ------------------

Retin A Ultra Gel can help. Though it will make your skin peel. That is how it works by causing you to regenerate a new growth of skin, it will also fade the purpleness color out of the stretch marks too. but you have to use it like 2-3 months before you start seeing a difference. Jae

whats up s..as far as gettingrid of them goes ..surgery is your only choice.
do you guys think that maybe because i was heavy (fat) that when i bulk i will not get them because my skin was already stretched when i was heavy..

Retin-a will help fade them and stop them getting worse.....Don't bother with Vitamin e though it won't help at all.

Ok sorry for being this blunt, but SUCK IT up and stop being such candy ass pussies. Those stretch marks are a clear indicator to all who see them, that you have done some significant growing. Not to be dramatic, but its a relative badge of honor. You know how many pencil necks would trade an anatomy COVERED in strentch marks to even come close to the appriciable gains you have recieved. Sure you can reduce their apperance, as with any blemish on the human body. Thousands of dollers in chemical peels and laser surgery would do that. The bitches do it, why shouldnt you. Seriously, brother they will fade with time. A tan lessons their appearance. Dont worry about them. I used to have race tracks along my outer pec where my front delt meets. They have diminished over time, just like that pimple on my ass cheek did. ------------------

As I stated early, Retin A will "burn" the skin off over a period of time and bleach out the discolorings of the stretch marks. RetinA = lotion type, used at bedtime because it is somewhat greasy RetinA Gel = A slight water based compound to eliminate the greasiness RetinA Ultra = same strength, not more powerful, only uses an alcohol base compound to make the medication absorb faster and deeper into the skin. Pretty easy to get, just haul a teenager in front of a doctor and it is yours. Peace |
