Okay, this is important for my knowledge. Okay, when you inject the gear, and when you pull out and blood runs out like water, could this be that I actually went through a vein, but didnt actually inject into it? Let me know. Nick     | ||

Yeah, sometimes you can pass through a vein and get quite a bit of bleeding. You may get a bruise but other than that you should be alright. | ||

Nothing happens at all. It probobly goes through a vein every time, but when its a vein thats close to the surface you get a "bleeder". As long is you dont inject into the vein youre good to go! Every time I shoot delts I bleed... never seems to affect gains... | ||

well see i was shooting up my brother and he was drinking a beer, and beer thins your blood. blood shot out like hell. he was like..."as long as it goes into the muscle it will be ok." I was like...."man I'm the one that knows this stuff, not you." Nick | ||

What happends when you DO inject in a vein? not that I'm planning to -- but what do you expect? I was under the impression that you could die, but am I wrong? | ||

From a medical standpoint. No big deal. The puncture in the vein will close and heal. You may have a nasty looking yellow type bruise for a couple of weeks. Not to worry. | ||

JohnnyO: If you DO inject into a vein, youll live! Youll aspirate the gear (which can be unpleasant, depending on the gear. Tren is the worst). Other than that, its just a wasted shot. The stuff goes through your system so quickly you lose any effect from it. Air bubbles arent really a concern, thats a highly overrated worry, the amount of air needed to kill you is much higher than youd belive. Think about divers who get decompression syndrome. They have far more air in their blood than a 3 or 4 cc syringe can hold, and they live... so really, squeeze the air out bfore you shoot, but dont get all anal over it. Ive pulled back and got air from the muscle, and just inject it right back in, and Im still alive... no wait... heart... racing... stomach... clenching... mustve... been... the... air... in the... last... shot... uhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Nick, Most of the time you probably passed through the vein or nicked it as your pin went into muscle. As stated before, the vein will seal itself but you will bruise. If you inject into a vein you will live but the gear will be aborped quickly into the blood stream then to the liver. [This message has been edited by Vitaman (edited August 22, 2000).] | ||

Actually if you inject right into a vein you can kill yourself. You should always asperate to make sure there is no blood in the suringe. This could cause heart failure! Jay | ||

nothing will happen if you pierce a vein but do not inject in it... well except bleeding when you pull out the needle. |
