Excuse me if anyone has brought this up before, but I was thinking (generaly a bad sign)... Why not take Nolvadex, a competative anti estrogen as a post cycle drug? It is in the same vein as taking cytadren to fight cortisol influx. You wouldnt want to take Armidex, as it eliminates all estrogen, and that wouldnt be beneficial as you are trying to reestablish your testosterone to estrogen ratio. But why not take nolvadex, which would only compete for a portion of the estrogen receptor sites? This was you fight the big estrogen rush, while allowing a portion of estrogen to do its work. Tapering down and then normalizing hormonal balance... Just a thought, whaddya think???     | ||

this is exactly what i did post cycle.....clomid and nolvadex for 2 weeks postcycle....it was immediatelt following a show, so i actually gained a whole lot of weight after my cycle....went from 205 one week out from the show, to 193 day of the show, and up to 238, 2 weeks after the show  ------------------ | ||

Clomid already binds to estrogen receptor sights in conjunction with the restimulation of edogenous testosteron. ------------------  | ||

I went on nolva after finishing my post-cycle clomid course following my last cycle. I did 40 mg for 4 days and 20 mg for 6 days. I think it helped me tighten up quite a bit and helped keep my estrogen levels down while my natural test levels were getting back to normal. On my current cycle, I'm taking 10 mg eod, alternating w/clomid 50 mg during the cycle, then post-cycle I plan to do the same as the last cycle. | ||

Yeah Twisted, thats true. But Ive never found clomid to be a very effective estrogen blocker, especially in the big post-cycle estrogen influx. It was all just a theory really. I was suprised to hear so many people do it! So does anyone still use Nolvadex for dieting down? That was big for a while, but you never hear about it anymore... |
