guys i just finished a cycle of sust,t200, and halo. and i am now off of them and am just takin 4 2mg winnies a day to help me get into to shape for the fall baseball season. they just told me today that i have to get a blood test this weekend. it will only test for liver and kidney function and cholesterol levels, but i think it might just be a front to test for other shit. but in the event it is only a liver test, will the docs know that i am on the juice because of my elevated liver values? and if so what can i do besides take milk thistle to lower the levels quickly?

thanks
mike

Who is it that told you that you will be tested? The coach? Your doctor? Who?

Winstrol will mess with your liver enzymes quite a bit, though how much and in what sense will vary greatly from person to person. More than likely, though, some of the levels will be outside of the "normal" range that is listed on all CBC (complete blood counts) reports.

The only thing that will be tested for is the common liver enzymes, not testosterone directly (if that is really what the test is for). If the enzymes are out of whack, then further tests may be performed.

This is very general, but then your question is a little vague. Give more details if you can.

You cannot be drug tested without your consent. If they dont ask, then they can't test

it was my baseball coach who told me i had to go take the test this weekend. i have to get a physical done at the same time they are doing the blood work on me.the thing that makes me suspect it is more than a just a liver check is that coach came up to me personally and told me that i was going to have to have a blood test done along with the physical.im freaked out bad enough just because my nuts are still shrunk from the cycle and i know the doc who gives me the physical is going to know something is up.the damn blood test just makes it that much worse.

so, what do you think they will do when they see that my liver values are out of the normal range?and any good explanations for the shrunkin nut syndrome?

blood tests are not currently used to determine the presesnce of banned substances. They are very expensive and the required degree of accuracy has not yet been met to consider them as a valid doping test. The only doping test that is currently in use is a urine test. However, the latest test involves testing hair samples, which can uncover agents long after they have dissapeared in the urine. As of yet this tecnology is still very rare and expensive. So in a round about way I'm saying, dont sweat a blood test bro.

Shrunken nuts? According to whom? One man's shrunken are another's huge. I wouldn't sweat that aspect of it. As far as the elevated enzymes are concerned, before admitting to A.S use, try the too much drinking avenue. One night of partying will elevate liver enzymes WAY out of normal values. Hope that helps.

get big or get out

I played Division I baseball and the urine test is the only one used for drug screenings. But if you are worried about your liver enzymes being a problem, just tell the guy you were drunk as hell a few days ago. No way to tell the difference. Don't worry about it bro. Expect nothing, but be prepared for anything. That's what Papa Deltzilla used to say to me.

Rocko, don't post on information that you do not know. The information you gave is completely wrong.

As one who has done drug testing as a career, blood testing is used quite commonly for drug testing. It's the easiest one to use! Blood call carry just about anything, from the raw drug to all the various metabolites of the drug. Liver enzymes, hormones, testosterone ratios, etc. can be tested for with blood.

The only reason why urine is used much more often for drug testing is that it's much less invasive of a procedure. But blood will give much more accurate results to what is actually in the system. Most all biological testing is developed on blood and then adapted to urine.

As for "very expensive", there is virtually no difference in cost between a blood test and a urine test. Usually, the two fluids are tested on the same instrument and/or the same procedures.

Hair testing is now quite common. It's also quite cheap. Unfortunately, it's not very sensitive. One joint will not show up in a hair test, though the chronic user will. That's the purpose of the test. Many employers prefer this method, so if the occasional partier uses a drug, they won't be excluded, but the chronic drug-addict will be.

So, as a professional of the field, I would be more concerned with a blood test than anything else. Mikecsa, you better come up with some good excuses. You're going to have many of the steroid metabolites still floating in your system.
