There's an article on my website... just go to the newbie post page. The bros I know that use it do between 425mg & 850mg twice per day. I'm going to have to get some next time I get a chance. | ||

Ranger have you heard of anything like this? One of the doctors on this board uses it...He says he gets severe cramps in his abdomen if he takes more than 1700mg per day. ------------------ | ||

There is a woman that goes to my gym and her Dr. put her on it at these dosages for fertility...if that didn't work, she said she couldn't say it right, but he would try another drug....yup...Clomid...dammed if I know Bro....Clomid yup...Metaformin???? I know Clomiphene Citrate(Clomid) is used to stimulate ovulation. What would glucophage or Metformin do to help fertility? Oh well, I'm a guy ...I'd need more than a couple of pills to help me get pregnant, so I don't think my doc will buy that one! :) J/K...still curious though | ||

For metformin Hydrochloride the lowest possible dosage for any possible therapeutic effects to be seen is 1700mg/day. this will increase glucose clearance by 10-40%(depending on the individual). Max dosage would be 2550mg/day/. Anything over that is ineffective and you will get a very upset stomach(I know, I tried it). For really impressive glucose clearing effects try this stack: Alpha-lipoic acid at a dosage of 1000mg/day This stack will help you develop Ketosis 30-50% faster. Godspeed | ||

why not just use small doses of insulin, like that stated in the Elite fitness newsletter....2 IU every 2-4 hours until you have used 10 -12 IU...the small amount and gradual nature of this prevents you from going into insulin shock ------------------ | ||

Inject 10-20IU of Humulin-R 30mins after a high GI meal. Make sure someone is around that knows what to do if you go into hypoglycemic shock. Tough it out for 3 hours (insulin has passed by then). I have used this succesfully to get into ketosis in 24hrs (deep ketosis) I suggest talking to a doctor first. Because insulin can kill you in minutes, or screw you for the rest of your life ------------------ | ||

24 hours Flexx? I thought it only took 8 hours to get into ketosis by glucometer measurement, by using the Humulin R method |
