Thanks for the info about custom laws in dealing with entering the country with it what about mailing it? If i get mine from int' and i have to use my real addy and name (because the apts here require to put your name on your box and if mail is address for someone else other than the name on the box, they wont' delivery), custom snag it, and sent the "letter" what would happen, what's the worst and what should i do?.. If you get a letter from customs, do not go and try to recieve the package. You will just make it easier for them. Forget about it and make sure you have nothing in your apt that is incriminating. Note: when throwing away old bottles and such of gear, throw them into a public recepticle. ------------------  | ||

Chesty, a majority of the time customs will send a letter stating your package(s) were seized, etc. How come in some cases (based on some stories from a previous thread) you may get a visit from a DEA agent? | ||

WG -- You can have your mail sent to "resident" and they will deliver it. | ||

Bigtruck, would this alert customs? Is it also a good way to "deny" if DEA or someother LE agencies come knocking on my door?

If they have been tracking a certain address, and you have a package sent there, they more than likely can show probable cause to obtain a search warrant for your mail and your domain. Especially if the packages are from a known dealer. It is not neccesarily (sp) the person that the package is addressed to that can be nabbed. IE, if you send a package to resident, the primary renter/owner is considered the resident and you can be busted just the same. chesty ------------------ |
