Here is what Brock Strasser had to say on t-mag:

Q: I recently bought some Chinese hGH under the Chinabase brand name. It has a maroon cap with a big "A" surrounded by two oriental characters. I bought this because it was really cheap, like $300 for a kit as opposed $900 for Saizen. However, I've been using three IU per day now for 16 days and I don't feel anything! No wrist pain, no nothing! I haven't noticed the fantastic fat loss that everyone raves about with GH use either. Is my stuff crap? What's up?

A: First of all, the maroon capped Chinabase GH is fake. The real stuff has a blue top. That's the first issue. The second issue is that real Chinabase GH is "for research use only" and isn't intended for human consumption because it's not purified to the level of other products like Nutropin, Saizen or Humatrope. So there may be a bunch of extraneous cellular residue (garbage you don't want to be injecting) in the lyophilized vials.

Finally, and I don't care what anyone says, this stuff has to be refrigerated before reconstitution, as well as after. Proteins are thermosensitive and wide temperature swings can and will degrade them. It's doubtful that much of the real (and cheap) Chinese GH flooding the states has been refrigerated as needed. So spend the extra money next time and buy American. Because when you buy American, you support Americans (and you get a better product).
