Anybody know of anything cutting edge other than creatine, gluatamine, whey and the likes. All I know is the illegal stuff and now that I am going natural I am asking for advise. Thanks

Well...creatine/glutamine/a protein blend/BCAAs, etc., are the basics, then you can go into things like Ribose, maybe some prohormones (but they'll be illegal soon) and stuff like flax/primrose oil, lots of vitamins, minerals, and the like. I'm natural--and it really just depends on how much you want to spend on supplements! ------------------

Fuck supplements..all you really need are proteins and vits...as long as you got you diet down you can save all that money...creatine might be good if you are thinking of bulking, doing cycles of 3 months on, 1 off...other than that there are no "wonder supplement" that gives you anything remotely like AS...im natural to, so the only thing we got going for us is time..we got plenty of it..lets just grow shall we? ------------------ "...damn you for not giving my TEST" - Metallica "After this show i'll be fat and happy again.....If i make it to the show...." - Lee Priest "Lets put some weight on the bar.." - Shawn Ray "IT DOESN'T MATTER" - The Rock

well i've been natural for 3years. All you need is protein, vit, maybe creatine. But want counts the most is your diet(being natural you have very little room to miss up)and you also have to train harder than you were when you took A.S. I use to pretend, that i was talking test. And i acually started to make gains. Slow gains but its worth ever pound you gain. late

Because I am void of A/S info ...this is all that I can say: eat a lot - but make it quality - not just quantity, train like an animal - but do not overtrain, rest - 'cause when you rest, you grow....it's all really very simple. And even w/o A/S - ya' still got way more test than I will EVER have (until you are, like 60..and then who'll give a damn? hee-hee j/k) - so if you follow the advice above and advice from all of the knowledgeable brothas here at elite - YOU GOT NO EXCUSES!

A good Multi-Vitamin- I like Twin Lab Dual-Tabs- and protein/meal replacements are all you really need- though the various herbs ma-huang or its synthetic ephredrine hcl tend to help more than just a little. peace

Flexed, I did a few cycles in college when I played ball and I've been 'all natural' if you can call it that ever since. Not really a BB more of a guy who just loves to lift. Anyway, get DL-Phenylalanine, L-Trytophan, Flaxseed Oil, L-Tyrosine + A bunch of protein. These will help you with your transition. I started reading this board because I'm thinking about jumping back into the pool for a couple of cycles. Good luck and Peace, I read your earlier post and I feel for you. I had to take three years out of lifting because of work and family complications so I hope things work out for you. ------------------

The only thing I can think of to add to what has been said is Zinc in small doses, like 25mg/day and Arginine. Be careful with the zinc cause its toxic at higher levels (over 50mg/day) and you get some from the food you eat. Oh yeah, and Potasium and Magnesuim also help to keep normal test levels up!!! |
