Is 16 weeks too long to be on gear if I do the first 8 weeks with androgens for mass, then the last 8 weeks with high anabolics for quality? this comes to a total of 4 months on gear. Oh, it might be a second cycle depending on what you experienced bros think. ------------------

NO, that is how I usually do it. Others will say it is too long, cut it down to 12 weeks, I say you will get better results with an 8 week cutting cycle. You can also take a mini break and bridge with clen for 2 weeks or so, I have a few bros here that do it that way ------------------

Biologically speaking you are better off with an 8-week bulking cycle, an 8 week break and an 8 week cutting cycle. Not only will the AS be more effective, but also your body will have enough energy to grow/cut to its real potential. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com

damn do any of you guys stay on for a good while then break, i havent been on for a good while now i started around june about to start cutting then want to bulk again around xmas w/ 1g of test. w/out a break ---is this crazy and are i only the only one doing this? im@LRG

@LRG, Your body will be torn down when you finish, so it may not have the resources to maintain the gains from all of that cycling. That would be a waste. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com

Decaman is right. When you are cutting you are mainly just trying to maitain muscle not add it so the diminished effectiveness wouldn't be that much of a problem. 2Thick is also right because it would be more effective to do 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off, 8 weeks on. But personally, I seem to put on a little fat while I am on a cycle and I hate it so I prefer to try and burn it off as soon as possible. If you want the most for your money, do like 2Thich said. But if you don't want to carry around any added fat like I do, just go straight into cutting. Alot of people do this with good results. Peace...Mav

So it depends on the fat I want/dont want. Ok. ------------------

there ain't nothing wrong with that. i'm just about to get done with something pretty similar, except i did 6 weeks bulk and 6 weeks cut. i was thinking of stretching it to 14 weeks but i'll save that for later. the only thing is that 16 weeks is an offly long time to be lifting intensely w/o a break. i started feeling really tired and overtrained towards the end so watch out for that. but if you can handle it then go for it.... ------------------ "The greatest risk is not taking one."

I would have to agree with 2Thick here. The effectivity of the anabolic 8 week cycle would be impared by the prior androgen rich cycle. However, I can think of 10 people off the top of my head who go 16 weeks in the fashion your speaking of. Essentially, it boils down to your willingness to be patient. ------------------

I like the idea of doing a cutting stack right after bulking. You can shed fat and water while retaining your gains and then when you go off you should maintain really well because there is no water retention at that point. If you take an 8 week break you might as well hit the heavy androgens again.
