If I eat enough protein everyday, is there still a minimum amount of calories I need to consume when on the gear?

Yes...Carbs are very important. The "experts" say 2-3 grams per lb. Just experiment, and when you start to gain more fat, cut them back. I would look like Fat fucking Albert if I took in more than 2 grams per lb. every day....You should also look into carb cycling if you are really concerned with bodyfat.

well that depends if your bulking then yes. you need the surplus in calories to grow. actually that goes for cutting to, you don't want to cut your calories to low...
