By now we all now my background, so here is the deal. I am leaving my gym the other day and in broad daylight right in front of the gym a "dealer" pops out a box of stanazolol and hands it to this guy to examine. Somethings to remember. 1. Cops can talk to anyone they want at anytime. 2. You do not have to talk to them unless they are detaining you while investigating a crime. 3. Here were some indicators that something was not right with the above scenario as I drove by. If I was on patrol and saw that exchange, I would have probable cause to detain the individuals and investigate further. Why you ask. I could use my professional experience that a crime was being committed as my pc. I have what appears to be an exchange of some sort, one of the individual's had really bad acne all over his body, they were in a parking lot servicing a gym. Now they could have been selling/buying christmas presents also, but based on my professional experience in the buying and selling of illegal substances, I would be able to lafully detain the individuals and search them and anything in the vehicle within arms reach of them. (wingspan rule) If they ran their goose is cooked as well. The moral of the story is if you conduct some sort of transaction, it should be as far from the gym as possible and in as much privacy as possible. At any given instance, a cop could drive through the parking lot, as I routinely did. That happens your toast. Not too mention it pissed me off that they were that stupid. I mean come on, right in front of the front doors, how smart is that? chesty ------------------     | ||

You sound like a cool cop. I live in Canada where small amounts for personal pssession is legal....what are the laws in the USA regarding small and large amounts of possessing steroids?? What are the penalties?? | ||

You missed it. I was a Deputy for almost five years. Should be in an earlier post from a few days ago. Any amount in your possession in the States is illegal without a valid script. Remember it is not the use that is illegal, it is the possession/possession with intent to sell that is illegal. And for godsake and yours: NEVER, EVER, BUY OR SELL WITHING 1000 FEET OF A SCHOOL. THAT REALLY JACKS THE PENALTIES UP. But I know all my bro's here are law abiding citizens that would never do wrong. Right? chesty ------------------ | ||

Chesty bud I got a questions and don't take this as a challenge or any kind of a flame but I am very interested in this (for personal reasons - not me but a family member) Do you feel at all bad about busting people (and if you never have - would you feel bad) that use AS for their own personal use just as you do? I think steroids should be legalized!! It's a personal choice........smoking kills thousands each day and is legal, but steroids which rarely kill, are considered completely evil!!!...Go figure!! | ||

I have never arrested anybody for steroids. They just weren't that high on the list. If I was put in that position alot would depend on the mitigating circumstances, were they found investigating another crime, attitude, etc. Sometimes you are left with no choice and have to make an arrest even if you don't agree with it. I had to make a few of those. I normally delt with the lower scum of the earth, crack dealers, meth dealers, drunks, gang bangers. In all the raids I did on houses, cars I pulled over, pat downs and searches, not once did I ever find steroids. I think that the majority of the steroid users are very intelligent and very law abiding for the most part. Steroids also do not induce a dependency as the narcotics and such do. Therefore, you will not find a steroid user "carpet farming" for Dbol, robbing houses, or committing strong armed robberies for cash to buy there next cycle. We work hard for our health and our physiques and in some cases we need the strength to have that physical/mental edge on the bad guy. I find that if you are honest with a cop and treat them with respect you will usually get the same in return. I got pulled over while I had a few drinks in Florida last year and the cop was cool and let me off with a warning. Thats not to say that everyone is so lucky, though. It was also fucking dumb of me to drive, but thats another story!! | ||

I was already a big bodybuilder when I got in and competing in natural shows. Besides, who do you want on your side a Barny Fife or 5'10 250 pounds of muscle? It is amazing how much shit you get out of just because of your size. I never once had someone try to start a fight with me. Knock on wood! chesty ------------------ | ||

I can attest to one story when 2 of my friends where stopped by 2 State Troopers it was around 2:30 am they were slightly intoxicated... and they did search the car.. And my friend who is a moderate dealer in the GEAR world had some amps of Sust.. 1 of the Troopers had discovered the amps... brought it to the front where my friends where out sid eof the car.. and told him .. to 1 get the fuck out of here and next time dont be so dumb.. And proceeded to tell him about how there are more dangerous drugs out there.. and then gave him the amps back.. and told him next time he might not get pulled over by such an undersatnding officer.. who knows about Steriods and the positive effects they can have... Just proof that not all cops are assholes ------------------ -Train hard or get the fuck out...  | ||

chesty you seem like a cop that patrols my area. he pulled me over one night after some moderate drinking. the drive was only 1 mile but i should not have drove anyway. but to make my point he saw a pin in my car and said how much weight have you gained?. i was shitting my pants but he told me he was juicing and loved the sauce. were workout partners now. let me tell you this is one cop i would never fuck with!! fuckin huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!!!!!!! | ||

Chesty, You should have pulled up to them, explained to them that they should know better than to conduct "business" in the open, give them a stern warning, take their gear, and start growing.
