I think I injured mine last week but have been working through the pain. Although last night I got an elbow brace, kinda like a wrap for it. I will wear it when I lift for now on. Rest it for a day or 2 & get a brace for it to see if it helps. IP: Logged |

Yeah, pressing probably would. You might be able to do front-raises, laterals and rear delts though... The elbow thing sucks, I hurt my left elbow once while I was doing 110 lb. incline db presses (didn't warm up). I couldn't perform any pressing movements for well over a month. I basically just had to figure out how I could work around it and do what I could to let it rest and heal. I would advise you to immediately get on glucosamine sulfate. Take 1000 - 3000 mg daily over 2 - 3 doses. This has worked well for me, but it takes about a month before you start feeling its effects. Wal-Mart has a good brand (Spring Valley) in a 1000 mg strength for $10. Good luck. IP: Logged |

Buy an icepack and cool it in the frigo, as cold as possible. Then put it on your elbow for about 20 minutes (depends on the air temperature). It will burn, try to hold on to it. After a week your elbow will look like you have burned it (color blue/red). After some days doing this you will get used to the cold effect. No need to take it of/on for a few seconds. Once stopped putting the ice on the blue/red skin will come back to normal. And definitly buy an elbow wrap, or taping just before the elbow works for me. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short IP: Logged |
