![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() here is a interesting thing i found out this week. i just recently had the skin inside my armpit stretch and went to my doc and he gave a script for retin a micro. i had been using the stuff for 2 weeks with ok results, but when i went to the beach last week, i was out in the sun alot. apparently retin and the sun dont mix. the stretch mark got real red and started to itch and kinda bubbled up. a few days later it quit festering and and dried up(i kept applying the retin to it) and left a big clump of rough dried skin over the stretch mark. i let it eventually fall off to uncover that the stretch mark was almost invisible!! just thought i would let you guys know that if you want to speed up skin growth just lay out in the sun with the medicated stretch mark exposed to the sun and it will heal alot quicker. mike IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the mark was about 1.5 inches long and probably a 1/4 of an inch wide at its' widest point. i had it for about 3 months before going to get the script for it. you should give it a try,but it itches like hell until it finally scabs over and falls off.you wont be able to wear those tight muscle shirts if your marks are in your arm pits because the friction is terrible and use powder to keep the area dry. but i think it was totaly worth it because of the results i got in just 4 weeks on the stuff. my liftin partner used retin for 3 months solid before his marks got to the point where you could barley see them. hope this is what you wanted to know mike IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mike, don't make a practice of that. Tell that story to your doctor and he'll give you 5 minutes on skin cancer as it relates to retin-a and the sun. That's like sticking your arm in the microwave. Stay safe Bro. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Most def. You're burning the skin off in a mild way with the retin-A. If you lay out in the sun you're making things twice as caustic for your skin because the retin-A eats away the oil our skin produces naturally to shield you from the sun. That nasty ass bubbling sounds like a third degree burn. I bet it didn't hurt either. That's puts me off my food. IP: Logged |
