![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() my girlfriends dad is 50 something.he's been drinking about a 12 pack a day of coors for 30 years, and mixed drinks.he doesn't get drunk though.(well, sometimes but not usually)my question is will milk thistle help him???i just know one of these days his liver is going to quit working.there is no way in hell he'll stop drinking, so that is out of the question.i didn't even know what milk thistle was untill i started on dbol,or i would have asked a lot sooner.also, what about primerose oil??? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This should by no means be considered as professional instruction, it is simply my 2 cents. It can't hurt, but I would think he has done some irreperable damage. I would forget the Primrose and stick with the Milk Thistle. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Milk thisle would be a good way to go. I took a bottle of milk thisle with me to Panama city on spring break, I knew I'd need it! Actually I believe that milk thisle has been used as alternative medicine for the treatment of cirrosis of the liver. Also something no one has ever mentioned on this board is SAMe (at least never seen it). Along with its many positive benefits like joint relief and support, natural antidepressant, it is also a precursor to the liver enzyme glutatione. Glutatione is primarily responsible for the neutralization and removal of toxins. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |
