What does everyone feel is the must do exercise for each major muscle group?? Mine are: Chest.... Incline DB press Bi..... straight bar curls Tri.... skullcrushers legs.... Squats back..... Rows shoulder...shrugs abs...cable crunches Calves....smith machine calve extensions ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Yeah, if you don't do any pressing movement for your shoulders, the shrugs don't help much -moondog ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

You must do pressing movements for your shoulders, shrugs are for trapezius muscles. Start Deadlifting and drop the shrugs, for the most part a heavy deadlift will stimulate your traps without ever doing shrugs. I'm also a big fan of the clean and press.....it builds raw strength. Squat Deadlift Bench Dips Standing Shoulder press Standing EZ bar curl (wrists) Pull ups Snatch - for power/ explosivness Clean/jerk - for overall body strength I hope I didn't forget anything. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
