Where are some of the best pharmacy's located on the other side of Cancun where the ships let off the passengers to go shopping, around the downtown area. i've been to the strip on a graduation trip but i've never been to the downtown section so i don't know if there are any crooked pharmacies or vets. If anyone has gotten anything while on a cruise let me know how it went down.

Bro, I just got back from Cancun and there are literally pharmacies everywhere. I know there is a Veterinary one downtown, but I'm not sure where that one is. The only setback was that the prices on most gear was fairly high. If you have trouble finding a pharmacy you might want to pick up the a phone book and look for the closest one, or get a taxi and tell the driver "farmacia". Hope this helps...LATER.

I am waiting from someone with experience on a cruise ships to answer differently and make my day. But I have been through customs coming from a dozen countries back to the US and it has always been the same. If you're not sure... Put on a tank top and shorts now go look in the mirror. Would you stop you coming back from Mexico?

SEVERAL GREAT PHARMS DOWNTOWN( PAYLESS, ABC, PARIS AND A COUPLE MORE) BUT THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN IS AT THE VET (PETS VETERINARIA) SPEAKS GREAT ENGLISH AND WILL CALL THE PHARMS AHHEAD OF TIME TO FIND YOU THE BEST DEALS!!

i took a cruise to the caymen islands and they checked my luggage good. it was carnival cruise lines. before we went to bed they made us put all our luggage out in the hall, and we had to go get it in a warehouse back in the states at the aiport. ALTHOUGH!!! the carry on wasnt hand searched just ran through x-ray...so watch out for metal tipped syringes or metal capped vials..if you get pills, put them in a tylenol bottle or something..they just look for rum bottles and shit..nothing major

Took a Carnival cruise to Cozumel a couple years ago... Came back with sus and Clen. The Pharmacies were plentiful and within walking distance from where the ships dock. When returning to the ship after getting my gear there was a Mexican cop at the end of the dock. He asked to look in my bags before he let me through to my ship, scared the hell out of me! Luckily I had everything concelled within other packages. The previous post about what happens when you get back to the states is right on.
