THAT'S GOOD QUESTION! I AM NOT A DOCTOR, BUT I KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE DIABETES, YOU WILL LOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT. I WOULD SAY TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IT. WHO KNOWS HE MAY EVEN BE ABLE TO PRESCRIBE YOU SOME ANABOLICS. MY .02 BRO! IP: Logged |

The test you will most likely have done is a GTT(Glucose Tolerence Test) You will fast for 12 hours then drink a suguary drink...after that, every hour for 5 hours they will do blood work and check your sugar levels....As far as the disease goes....proper diet, low carb, high protein, will help greatly...gains may come slower for you than others...of course genetics will play a large role in this. At this point, if you do in fact have Type 2, you may be put on Metaformin, or Actos to control it... ------------------ Ranger IP: Logged |

I am a type 2 diabetic. First they will try to control it through diet and excersise. If this cannot be done over an extended peroid of time (approx 1 year or sooner depending on glucose levels) DO NOT BE OBLIVIOUS- the fact is diabetes can cause you to lose your eyesight, limbs, internal organs. Control your sugar! It takes a long time to see what foods will spike your sugar levels and even then, on some days your sugar will skyrocket, on others, it will plummet for no reason. Do cardio 3-4 times a week and keep lifting to build muscle. Muscle burns glucose. I started test therapy about 3 months ago. The doc said to give it a shot. Result: My glucose levels went to their lowest levels, but also shot up to their highest???? Go figure, the disease affect everyone differently and it just takes patience to find out what is your best program. Take care of yourself..... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hey!......according to medical lit. never take anabolic steroids if you are diabetic, unless you are closely monitored by your doctor. check out this site and look up a brand name steroid that is produced in u.s. I.E. Halotestin, etc. and see precautionary statements listed.... www.rxlist.com Good luck bro! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I'm an insulin dependant diabetic (type one) and I've recently completed a cycle of T200. The research states: "Antidiabetic drugs and insulin: In diabetic patients, the metabolic effects of androgens may decrease blood glucose and insulin requirements." You will find this in any medical journal, physicians drug reference, etc. However, my experience was that it lowered my blood sugar levels in the first half of the cycle and increased blood sugar levels in the second half of the cycle. Further research suggested that the increase in blood sugar levels could have been caused by the exaggerated number of calories I was taking due to being on a cycle. Also, some believe that excessive estrogen levels can cause one to be insulin resistant. It makes sense that due to aromatization, estrogen levels will be elevated during a cycle. I believe in the excessive estrogen theory because I was eating quite a bit more than normal and my blood sugar readings were low through the first 4 weeks. I spoke to my doctor and he stated that only GH will increase blood sugar levels in and of itself. He said that test and deca should interfere with blood sugar readings to any great extent. I am starting my second cycle in one week (sus/deca/d-bol) and I will be monitoring my blood sugar levels throughout. I will keep the board posted with the results. IP: Logged |
