I'm tired of hearing that we are all just dumb plateheads and that we wouldn't know an apple from an orange. So I am throwing this out to all who wants to add on.

I for one am dedicated to the intelligence and endless search for knowledge about the sport. Yes! I said sport. Although it's not truly recognized that way. I still believe it is! I'm interested to see what others think...

It takes more dedication than the average person can even fathom. It is crazy hard to get into serious shape.

It does take intelligence, if you are not very careful with your cycle planning you will endanger yourself greatly. Anyone that says we are a bunch of plateheads is a closed minded stereotypical idiot.

think about the people who say that we are "plateheads" they are usually bottle neck geeks, and weight lifting doesnt interest them in the slighest. When people are ignorant about, well anything they usually cast stones.
Its like when we call skinny nerds, computer geeks. We just dont understand why they would want to put all their time and energy into computers.
It doesnt bother me for someone to think Im dumb because I know Im not. It does allow me, however, to have a few tricks up my sleeve that they wouldnt think possible!!

I'm constantly researching and learning,And I've been in the game a long time. You can never know too much.It takes a great deal of intelligence to manipulate your body composition the way alot of these fellas do here. You can't just go haphazardly about it and expect to achieve optmum results. It takes a lot of research and planning. Not for the stupid person,at least long term.

Its a 24hour 7day a week sport. You have to want it more than anything. What you eat, When you eat, How many times you eat, What body part to work on, Doing those extra squats when you hate them, I could go on and on and I wont even get in to the A/s side of it!It takes total commitment and strive to be better at all times!

I believe it takes extreme focus and willpower as well. It becomes a way of life that's grueling in a lot of ways, yet we enjoy it for it's benefits and results!
