My friend's amp of primo has part of the primo stuck in the top part (close to half of the amp). He was thinking of heating it in hopes that would make it drop down. (So it's not wasted when the amp is opened) Anybody dealt with this before? If so, tell me how you got the oil to come out of the top of the amp into the bottom (where it's supposed to be). Boil some water and stick the amp in it. The oil will heat up and drop down, it will break the oils viscosity (sp) down. What has happened is the oil is to think and has gotten stuck with some suction at the top of the amp. IP: Logged |

It won't take long for it to break the oil up and let it drop so leave it in for a minute or two and that should be fine. Heating to a certian extent can break down a substance some. But thats talking about boiling the oil not just sitting in some boiling water. Just remember to remover the water from the heating element before inserting the amp. IP: Logged |

all my amps were like that. I just held them by the neck and shook them, kinda like when you use a thermometer when you are trying to get the mercury down to the 98.6 mark. Worked for me, never lost a drop. IP: Logged |

I had the same thing happen to me. I just flicked the top or tapped it on a counter enough for the oil to come down but not breaking the ampule. ------------------ Rock On! IP: Logged |

Just tap the top of the amp on and angle until the oil comes down. It's just like tapping a syringe for excess air. If all else fails, why not just stick the needle into the top of the amp and suck it out?!

Yeah Mav -- he did a shot on Friday and said the pain didn't come on until 24 hrs. later -- one side of his ass felt the way it does after a REALLY killer squat workout. (which is weird when everything else around it feels ok) He said the pain only lasted 24 hrs and that he LIKED IT, THAT THE PAIN WAS GOOD! (Although he did shreik like a girl when his wife decided to pinch his ass in a restraunt later that day :-) I'll tell my friend to try shaking it down first and if that doesn't work to heat it. He doesn't want to try drawing it out of the top after it's broken because the tops have been shattering on him when he opens them. (they're the clear (thicker?) amps, not the browns w/ the blue dots) Thanks for the help bros! IP: Logged |

I have the clear ones to from Schering. Tell him to try and wrap a towel around it to keep from crushing the top. If it crushes it is possible that little pieces of glass could fall down in the amp and you definitely don't want to inject glass in your glute. Use a nail file, then wrap with a towel and wollah. Haven't had a problem yet and I have opened probably 20 amps for this cycle. Thats sucks about the pain. Mine didn't hurt going in but for an hour afterwards it did. Burned like a sonofabitch. I hope it doesn't start hurting again in 24 hours. That would suck. Peace...Mav IP: Logged |

Newmaxx, from what I have heard, almost everyone says it hurts real bad. Either you are real tolerant of pain or you have got some fake gear. I heard it was gonna hurt before I ever used it because that is what everyone on the board told me. They were right. Peace...Mav IP: Logged |

Sake the amp real heavy, this should do the trick, if not open the amp and suck the Primo up from the amp and the top. If the Primo doesn't come down while shaking, then the Primo will not be lost if you break the amp. I already mentionned this, even an open amp can be hold upside down without loosing any Primo. DON'T PUT YOUR NEEDLE IN UPSIDE DOWN. I say this because with my amps the Primo NEVER comes out by itself. What I do is just leave the amp overnight so all the oil goes down then after my shower I throw the dart in. IP: Logged |
