Though the Russian alphabet varies from the English one, they both share some similar letters. These letters are written in the same way but some have different pronunciations. Here is a short list of a few letters and their pronunciations in Russian:

"C" is pronounced "S"
"Y" is pronounced "OOO" or "U"
"T" and "O" are pronounced as they are in English
"H" is pronounced as "N"

So the next time you see the Russian word CYCTAHOH .. you will know that it is just the Russian way of writing "Soostanon" or "Sustanon"!! Another useless fact.
